  1. That picture is great!
  2. Wow, in just short two pages on a MNF thread we went from how Tony Kornheiser is fairing tonight to Suzy Kolbar's love life to Randy Savage's "Macho King" era, god bless the internet
  3. He did indeed play the entire game. That has to be the 1st time this has happened in a decade at least. I can understand not bothering to play vets like Bledsoe for very long, but not to play him at all seems kind of odd. Didn't hear about him being hurt at all. BTW, what happened to Drew Henson? Romo playing a full game can't be good for his QB future.
  4. If they did, Lonnie Johnson would have been the first guy in line years ago. The L. Johnson Strong Memorial Hand Transplantation Unit, I can see it now
  5. Davis is no sure bet to make this team and neither is Smith, Wilson, or Aiken. The same goes with Nance but his size is a huge advantage to him on a team of near midgets. It seems to me that Evans, Price, Parrish, & Reed (ugghhh) are locks. Once the preseason starts, we'll have a better idea. Afterall we are only not even a full week into practice. In the Fairchild scheme I have no doubt we will keep 6 WR's, keeping 7 probably won't happen. I think Nance & Smith are the other 2 that make it on the team, and Wilson goes to the PS (I think he is still eligable since he didn't dress that much last season), leaving Aiken to wonder the earth.
  6. If I never see that play again, it will still be too soon
  7. Did Nance get any balls thrown his way? If so, how'd he look?
  8. I don't know, but that's a great word!
  9. I think the fact that they have training camp there is a thank you enough. Oh well, I'll live with it and just get tickets to another practice.
  10. Yeah, I agree, the fact that they are not at least adding a Buffalo area Verizon store to hand out tickets is very short sighted. I can't think of why they would set it up this way.
  11. I totally agree with you, if the gun is owned legally, I believe you should be able to carry it anytime, anywhere. In this case though, if he was arrested & the charges were not dropped later after a proper check was conducted, I'm going to say that he doesn't have it properly registered and his hard nosed contract negotiations with the Eagles just took a turn for the worse. I guess only time will tell.
  12. Young's deal COULD reach $58 million with incentives that are reached. Meanwhile, Super Mario could reach as high as $62 million with incentives. The guaranteed money breaks down like this: Williams: $26.5 million in guaranteed money Young: $25.7 million in guaranteed money Anything said to the contrary by the Young camp is just his agent trying to make them look good. http://www.hendersonvillestarnews.com/apps...ORTS01/60727006
  13. Nothing as of yet. I've been searching the web tonight for any updated news. From what I read from McCargo's agent, things should be resolved by Friday as he is in Rochester ready to go. I'm sure Whitner will follow soon enough. I'm not worried at all.
  14. Man, you must hang with a hard crew!
  15. According to ProfootballTalk.com, Brodrick Bunkley has been arrested for having a loaded handgun on the dashboard of his car. http://www.profootballtalk.com/rumormill.htm "The arrest, which was made by the Delaware River Port Authority on one of the bridges connecting Pennsylvania to New Jersey, happened a couple of weeks ago. An effort was made to get the charges dropped quietly, but prosecutors (we're told) have refused to do so." I know that ProFootballTalk.com isn't always the most accurate source, but they actually have had many more hits than misses. They're much better than say their hockey counterpart Eklund on hockeybuzz.com. And they are 1000000% better than Soprano! At any rate, if even part if this is true, IMO it will only make Marv look that much smarter for his draft selections, quieting those who shouted for the Bills to take Bunkley over & over leading up to the draft.
  16. IMO Roadrunner is slightly better than Powerlink from my experiences, seems a tad bit faster with less "issues". So those of you with Powerlink, don't worry when it comes to the internet side of things, as you won't experience a drop off when the switch occurs. But if you're addicted to those Canadian channels, that could be dicey. The company that served my area (Clarence/Akron border) before Time Warner bought them out did carry Canadian channels in the early 90's (maybe '93?). When Time Warner took control they decided to not renew the contracts, saying goodbye to our friendly Canadian tv shows.
  17. I wouldn't be so sure about that, this is the cold heartless Time Warner we're talking about and I've heard from people in other markets that they have pulled channels before when taking over a new region. Whether that happens in Buffalo remains to be seen. On a more positive note for you baseball fans, TW does carry both YES and SportsNet NY on it's basic digital tier without having to buy the extra sports tier. OLN has also always been on the TW basic tier, which was nice while watching the Sabres run. At least Adelphia wised up on that one. Now let us hope Time Warner does the same with the NFL Network!
  18. I also hope this helps Time Warner feel some pressure to get a deal done for the NFL Network. I live on the border of Clarence & Akron and I'm one of the few in Erie County who's always had Time Warner, living litterally a mile past Adelphia's reign. Going back a few years TW actually was always better with channel selection vs. Adelphia, getting the newest channels before Adelphia did. That's changed now to the point where Time Warner has been slacking off. BTW, Time Warner does not carry the Canadian channels either. They don't have a contract with them. Not sure how that will effect the Adelphia region switching over. Perhaps no more CBC hockey coverage?
  19. He's at the airport.
  20. Oh god, that guy really had me going for a while in the spring, shame on me for falling for it. I'll pass on anything he has to say.
  21. My friend is a new season ticket holder in Canada. I'm sure he won't be too happy with this news. Anyone know how fast it takes the Bills to send season tickets to Toronto usually? Do they use some sort of international priority postage?
  22. Did they say that they should arrive the 1st week of August or be sent out the 1st week? Just curious.
  23. Nice video, you should shoot a longer one that documents a full season. It's the middle of the night in July and after watching that, it pumped me up big time!! I am ready for some football!
  24. I can't believe how the initial poster put Bruce DeHaven on the list as the worst Special Teams coach of the last 15 years, are you kidding me? As others have mentioned, Ronnie "Pump It Up" Jones might be the worst ST coach in Bills history. I'll never forget the look of a beaten man on his face in one of his last games in the rain on a Sunday night in Seattle. I loved it!
