  1. that is great these qb's are going to be all over the map in respect to draft position over the next months. that said at least there seems to be some talent this year unlike last years class
  2. no thanks lets see what we have on the roster, I get the feeling that one of these guys will step up to be a solid number 2
  3. I agree , not even going tot bring up the race argument, oops i did
  4. Brown would prob clear waivers. That said it looks pike might be cut as well. Considering the current state of the qb position is it crazy to keep two on the practice sqaud and see how they develop
  5. forget killing dogs , looked what they did to ricky williams for smoking pot. smoke pot lose two years of your career , assult at least girls two get 4 games crazy times second time he was accused , whispers of even more. defend if you want, but do it at your own peril . He will strike agian
  6. shefter tweeted that bills are one of three teams interested fwiw
  7. I agree . Add to that his crazy small and fast player theory and it was a 4 year disaster
  8. I couldn't agree more . Well said my friend
  9. Yeah 8-8 is fine all things considered . A Complete overhaul of the d , tough division ect. As for the saints they are going to have major salary issue to deal with . They drafted the guy they think can take over in a year or so and won a superbowl with out Brown last year. In addition in a uncapped year with Schobel salary coming off the books the Bills could easily take on a large contract. I am not sure he is going to get more then 4 years at 27-30 .
  10. I would argue if you had a solid left tackle this is a 500 team maybe better. Plus as pointed out earlier it would be nice to see what the quaterbacks could do not running for their lives . Adding one vetern free agent /trade harldy changes the over concept of the front office
  11. I understand what you two,(pilsner and Buffalonian ), are saying about posters overreacting but this is a legit debate. Adding a nfl caliber left tackle to this team for the cost of a mid round draft pick and a new contract is not an outragous thought.
  12. You know if you get 3 or 4 good years out of him that is not much less then what you get from a draft pick. If the drafted player turns out to be good or very good, the cries for a big new contract starts up . Look no further then the jets with Revis and mangold The poster who pointed out that getting an nfl caliber left tackle on the roster now helps with the evaluation process of several positions .
  13. agreed . plus how is trading a 4th round pick throwing away the future .
  14. I get what you are saying but this is such a huge need for us .
  15. It could be that Brown would not sign a tender to go to Buffalo as long as the Redskins were in play. That said this is very frustrating, maybe they see Bell as the answer or maybe Buddy is waiting out Newsome as long as he can before he pulls the trigger. The thing is , if they don't think Bell is the answer then you would have to think that they would have to spend a high pick on a left tackle next year. so why not just give the second , sign gaither long term as move forward. Just one persons humble opinion .
  16. Could be , brown is older but prob cheaper .
  17. not sure I agree with that. If brown cost a three then Gaither still would warrent a 2 . The saints are gambling that the redsking go 8-8 or worse which is very possible .
  18. I guess we have to see what the Redskins end up paying him or in their case overpaying him . That said I think I would have done it for a 3 with a 5 coming back . It could be as someone said earlier that he would not sign his tender to come to Buffalo.
  19. It will be interesting to see what they gave up. A third would have been tempting , any thing less then that I will be disappointed that we didn't make a play
  20. I think the idea is to get the Super Bowl, the championship game and on round of playoffs in Febuary . To max out during "SWEEPS"
  21. if that is the case trade him to the texans and get a pick for him . a 4th is better then nothing
  22. I think he is a solid but not all pro type player . As far as him leaving it is probably for the best. unless I am reading the roster wrong Schobel and Maybin were playing the same position. At this point it is important to see what me have in Maybin.
  23. John, do you believe the recent suggestion that Buffalo has not recieved even a 4th round offer for Lynch?
