I loved the Kincaid pick. Living on the West Coast i saw a lot of his games, but watching the replay of this game was a bit surprising. I didn’t mean to make a big deal out of it…I mean, I’m sure Kyle Pitts had bad games in college too, but the bad drop and being outshone by the other Utah TE were disappointing. Kincaid absolutely dominated USC in the regular season game, so maybe they were giving him a lot of extra attention in the championship game.

There are 162 baseball games per season…and only 12 college football games per season. How Kincaid performed in the biggest game of the year is a data-point worth considering, don’t you think? And we were also told Kincaid never drops the ball, but here he was with a drop as bad as any in Gabe Davis’s or Dawson Knox’s careers… And yet the other Utah TE had a really nice game…so they must have needed something

I’m not saying Kincaid sucks…I loved the pick. Just providing a data-point. And I do think it’s probably unrealistic to think he’ll be a big difference-maker this year.

Out of boredom, I watched a replay of the 2022 PAC 12 Championship Game last night. Kincaid was bad. He was not even Utah’s best tight end that night, and he dropped an EASY 5-yard soft toss for a TD.😮

I think Jones and Jeffrey Simmons are the best in the league, a cut above Quinnen Williams and Dexter Lawrence.

Jones wants (and deserves) big $. This is why the Chiefs aren't in the running for Hopkins...

Agreed, McDermott is one of the 32 best coaches in the NFL. No question…and the Bills were terrible under Rex and Jauron and Maroon, so McDermott is awesome.

I’m not sure what he’s saying about Oliver. That is some really awful coach-speak. Impenetrable, to me, at least.

The fact that the Bills were horrible for a generation is not evidence that McDermott is a top coach. What McDermott’s done the past three seasons—with Josh Allen at his peak—is the opposite of “miracle work.”

Listen to the whole podcast and then decide if you’ve lost respect for Tucker, who is a big Bills fan BTW. You could quibble about whether he should have had McDermott a little higher, but Tucker defends his McDermott ranking very well.

Amazing insights from this young man. When we traded for Hines, I thought we were just getting a really solid punt and KO return guy…who would have guessed that we had landed a football savant, a modern day Bill Parcells? Since apparently no one told Dorsey that Hines was on the roster, perhaps the plan all along was to slot him in this year as an assistant head coach, or perhaps Hines is the one who’s been whispering in Terry Pegula’s ear…

And everyone knew that he would most likely be released...
