  1. Does it seem rotten to you that they made millions off the movie and Oher didn't get a dime (allegedly)?
  2. At least...it's because of guys like Manziel that the NCAA's free ride eventually came to an end...there's something really wrong with schools making billions off of guys like Manziel, Flutie, Mariota, etc. and them not getting a dime of it (legally, anyway).
  3. Maybe on a team like the Bills, but the 2022 Texans had a very thin roster. I don't know the exact numbers, but I'm guessing a high percentage of their rostered players last year were not even drafted. At any rate, I wasn't suggesting Georgia would beat the Texans on a regular basis, only that they would be able to hold their own against lower-rung NFL teams and wouldn't be drubbed 60-7, or whatever it was you said. Georgia would not be over-matched physically, that's for sure.
  4. I was waiting for someone to tell me that I am failing to account for the amazing coaching advantage the Texans would have over the Bulldogs, owing to the brilliance of David Cully and Lovie Smith...
  5. K Allen has been in the league for six years and has shown pretty good back-up QB ability during that time. I don't think that all goes out the window based on a few series in a pre-season game with a new team...seems like an over-reaction, although admittedly I did not see the game.
  6. Admittedly, the evidence in the documentary was pretty sparse, but it looks to me like Manziel is living with his parents, still hanging around with enablers, and still drinking. He was seemingly honest about the things he did in his past, but seems unrepentant and blames a lot of his problems on the NCAA, A&M, the Browns, etc...
  7. Good post, but I strongly disagree with the bolded. While Manziel appeared to be candid, I saw no evidence that he has mended his ways or is prepared to re-join society as a functioning adult.
  8. LOL...Georgia probably had 25 guys on the field who have been or will be selected in the first 4 rounds of the NFL draft, including at least 10 first round picks...and they had a QB at least as good as Houston's. The fact that Jonny Football flamed out in the Factory of Sadness, because he wanted nothing to do with pro football, has absolutely zero to do with any hypothetical Georgia v. Texans matchup.
  9. Lance was one of the first beneficiaries (and Niners the first victims) of the Josh Allen Effect. Colts might be next…
  10. Agreed. Guy was an absolute disaster waiting to happen and a lot of people at Texas A&M had to know it…Shows what a bad organization the Browns were.
  11. Not to mention Zack Moss…
  12. In the words of the great Hollywood Henderson, Bradshaw couldn't spell "cat" if you spotted him the "c" and the "a"...
  13. Thank you for this important message. Who is "Meyers"? If you are thinking of Jakobi Meyers, I don't think he was draft-eligible this year.
  14. I loved the Kincaid pick. Living on the West Coast i saw a lot of his games, but watching the replay of this game was a bit surprising. I didn’t mean to make a big deal out of it…I mean, I’m sure Kyle Pitts had bad games in college too, but the bad drop and being outshone by the other Utah TE were disappointing. Kincaid absolutely dominated USC in the regular season game, so maybe they were giving him a lot of extra attention in the championship game.
  15. There are 162 baseball games per season…and only 12 college football games per season. How Kincaid performed in the biggest game of the year is a data-point worth considering, don’t you think? And we were also told Kincaid never drops the ball, but here he was with a drop as bad as any in Gabe Davis’s or Dawson Knox’s careers… And yet the other Utah TE had a really nice game…so they must have needed something
  16. I’m not saying Kincaid sucks…I loved the pick. Just providing a data-point. And I do think it’s probably unrealistic to think he’ll be a big difference-maker this year.
  17. Out of boredom, I watched a replay of the 2022 PAC 12 Championship Game last night. Kincaid was bad. He was not even Utah’s best tight end that night, and he dropped an EASY 5-yard soft toss for a TD.😮
  18. I think Jones and Jeffrey Simmons are the best in the league, a cut above Quinnen Williams and Dexter Lawrence.
  19. Jones wants (and deserves) big $. This is why the Chiefs aren't in the running for Hopkins...
  20. Agreed, McDermott is one of the 32 best coaches in the NFL. No question…and the Bills were terrible under Rex and Jauron and Maroon, so McDermott is awesome.
  21. For some reason, Kim Pegula threads bring out some really cringe posts…
  22. The Fins gave up a first round pick for Chubb, who is, as you suggest, JAG.
