It’s absolutely the kind of game that the McDermott Bills have usually won…and if they don’t, it’s going to get ugly.
-
Hell, let’s just go with Allen and Cook behind nine offensive linemen…it’ll work as well as Brady’s current scheme…

Coaches are heavily implying that Coleman isn’t trying on the field

Moore is clearly being phased out in Chicago, but he’s almost 30 now. Let’s not pretend he wasn’t a damn good NFL WR for a lot of years, and MILES better than anyone we had back then. Who knows, if we had drafted Moore in 2018, maybe we’re not desperate enough to trade for Stefon Diggs 2 years later, and we use our 2020 first round pick on a different WR (insert name) who might still be on the roster. -

Since we’re going back to the future here, in 2018, after you brilliantly trade up for Josh Allen, why not use your other first round pick on a WR for him to throw to (DJ Moore, maybe) instead of trading up for a raw off-ball linebacker? The WR room at that time was even worse than it is now… -
Do you think the Chiefs would beat the Patriots as a 7th seed?
mannc replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, I can’t logically support it, but this is a funny league. NE has had an amazing glow-up and the Jets have stunk, but sometimes funny things happen, like in Miami on Sunday. On the other hand, Vrabel is a better coach than McDermott, so this is probably wishful thinking. -
This offense is much better in no-huddle mode…it takes Brady out of the equation. McDermott won’t allow it, though, because he doesn’t want to expose his precious defense.
-
Yeah, the weapons aren’t great, but this Brady offense is a catastrophe. Samuel, Moore and Coleman are all early second round picks and all relatively young. It’s not like there’s nothing to work with there. The Bills still have a top 5 injury-free offensive line, 29-year old Josh Allen, and a top 3 RB…many NFL offenses have thrived with much worse personnel…

I think the Jets are going to knock off NE on Thursday night. Just a feeling… -
Downs was a Colt draft pick.

Catch a Raiders game lately?

This regime is bad at picking offensive coordinators
mannc replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s the same o-line personnel as last year, but I agree, they’ve had some bad games, especially yesterday and Atlanta. I don’t understand it. It’s still a very good o-line, though. I will add that Josh has abandoned clean pockets and run into quite a few sacks this year. -
Dalton Kincaid Hamstring Injury (Week to Week per Jordan Schultz)
mannc replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. It seems to me that the root of the problem is that Kincaid is just not built to take the punishment of an NFL TE. I keep hearing that he’s as big as Sam LaPorta, etc, but I just don’t see it. Kincaid has a much smaller frame. Kincaid is a nice player but he is never going to be a physically dominant player like Bowers, Warren, Loveland or LaPorta. He would have been a nice pickup in the third round or so, not a guy to trade up for in the first. -
If Bucky watches the Achane film, it will be impossible to keep him from playing in this game...

I don't think people around the NFL (or the NCAA) are looking at Brady and saying "Wow, what an amazing job he's doing with such poor receiving weapons." I think it's more likely that they are saying, "This guy has Josh Allen, an outstanding offensive line that has had two years of injury-free continuity, a top 3 running back (who's also a receiving threat), and three good-to-excellent tight ends. WTF is wrong with this guy?" -
Does it really matter at this point? I am sure the Pats will get to play against Flacco, because of course they will.
-
No thanks. Onward and upward. We need someone new, from outside the organization.
-
Should have been immediately fired when he refused to play Dart vs the Chiefs.
-
Too late. We got who we got.

It’s not working. Time to try something else. You don’t have be up on all the available candidates to know that…
-
And Traveon Henderson suddenly looks like their Devon Achane. I don’t see them finishing worse than 13-4.

Week 10, 11/09/25 Around the NFL (no Bills talk please)
mannc replied to Ridgewaycynic2013's topic in The Stadium Wall
No running back should even be in the conversation. I think Drake Maye has to be the favorite. -
Here is one small example of the Bills’ offensive coaching incompetence: Running plays have a much higher success rate than passes on two-point conversions (62% vs 43%). Despite being the team with the highest percentage of running plays in the NFL this year, the Bills have passed the ball on all four of their two-point conversion attempts this year, and they are 0-4.

Yep, a bottom of the barrel, 33-year old free agent…

Just to rub some salt in the wound, Mack Hollins had over 100 yards receiving today for NE.
