  1. On Fan Duel, we’ve gone from +500 to +340 since Monday. Pretty big jump…
  2. Even the best AFC playoff teams are nowhere near as good as the top teams in the past few years.
  3. Back-to-back home losses to 2-win teams…good lord. The Steelers belong nowhere near the playoffs.
  4. Well, I think our chance of making the playoffs went up a few percentage points tonight…I’ll take it
  5. It’s extremely fortunate that Mitchell Trubisky never had to take a real snap for the Bills.
  6. Who was the poster here who went on a year-long crusade to draft Trubisky?
  7. It’s gonna happen. By the way, we lost to New England.
  8. The Steelers are going to get another ugly win, aren’t they?
  9. I agree, but it feels to me like the 9/11 thing could really hurt McDermott, even more than his poor performance on the field in that it tends to make him an object of ridicule. But of course, if he had turned out to be a great coach, we wouldn't even be having this conversation.
  10. It's definitely a crossroads game...win and there's real chance to run the table and make noise in the playoffs. Lose and I think the wheels come off. If the latter happens, I don't think McDermott is safe, no matter what Tim Graham says.
  11. That's different. That suggests some sort of settlement where McDermott walks away, gets paid some amount of $, and is free to pursue other opportunities...it's really more of firing than anything.
  12. Nope, can't do that either. A coach who's under contract can't just quit and go work for another NFL team.
  13. Zero chance of that. He just signed an extension and would be walking away from as much as $20 million...If McDermott's not fired, he'll be back. Guaranteed.
  14. Correct...the one does not occur without the other...Araiza, on the other hand, was never charged with a crime (or arrested) although the "victim" accused him of various bad acts...
  15. It’s a fundamental principle of criminal and constitutional law in the United States.
