Every year the same thing happens on the first couple days of free agency: The crappy teams make a bunch of splashy signings; Bills fans get upset that we didn't sign one or more of these big names; and the following season, the crappy teams are still crappy, despite the big name signings, and the top teams like KC, Baltimore, Buffalo, etc are still at the top of the heap...

Agreed. He’s a good young player, if not a star. There’s still upside to be tapped. And if we let Groot walk, we’d have another big hole to fill. No-brainer.

I think it depends on the position…I’d have no issue using a high pick on an older, more experienced QB…more of an issue at edge, CB or WR, where you’re really looking for someone you’re going to want to sign to a second contract and their age will work against them by the time the rookie deal expires…for the same reason, I’d not hesitate to draft an older RB (like Ray Davis) because you’re probably not giving him a second contract anyway.

KC is definitely in for a soft re-set this year, but since Mahomes arrived, they’ve ruthlessly turned over their roster with few ill effects. Maybe Beane will trade back with them again this year, just to give them a helping hand…

Maybe the most underrated player in the league over the past decade, but probably not much left in the tank at this point…

Deebo’s certainly better than Curtis Samuel, who we are stuck with. And he’s only 29.

He may not have had a great year, but Deebo still has plenty of juice. He was certainly a problem for the Bills in the snow game…every time he touched the ball he was a threat take it to the house, especially on kickoff returns. I think this is an excellent move for Washington.

It absolutely should be banned. For 100 years it was illegal for the offense to “aid the runner”, and now all of a sudden it’s ok? It’s a rugby play, not a football play. It does not belong in the game.

Bass did not cost the Bills a single game this year, and probably won us a couple...can't ask for more than that.
