I think the Jets are the likeliest candidate to move down. They won't be in the market for a QB, they desperately need offensive help, and they will be looking to recoup the second round pick they traded to Indy last year.

Umm, no. The list in the OP would indicate a 100% success rate in first three rounds (Fournette was a terrible pick at 4 overall, but he's certainly a good back), and in fact all of the first 10 RBs selected have turned out to be good to great. And even the ones selected after that have a high success rate.

Lindsey played fewer games than Barkley. Compare them on a per game basis and it’s quite close. hunt is hardly irrelevant

I’m not sure what all this means, but my original point still stands...No RB in the first round, especially when (arguably) the best back in the league is available for nothing. No. They did not. The Giants could have gotten essentially the same production by taking Phillip Lindsey in round 7.

With Kareem Hunt available for free, this would be absolutely unforgivable.

What if the police pulled you over for suspicion of drunk driving, then let you go without charging you? Would your employ still fire you? Because that’s what happened to Hunt. Really? I’m a big believer that most RB can be easily replaced without much drop off, as the Rams proved with Todd Gurley, among countless other examples, but I thought the Chiefs looked like a much different team without Hunt. Probably the best back in the league this year...

Maybe he could also represent Chiefs fans with regard to the the phantom roughing the passer call on Brady that kept a Pats drive alive in the fourth quarter.
