  1. I remember watching the first round of the playoffs (no wild card) on Christmas Day.
  2. There is no reason (other than greed) for the season not to start Labor Day weekend. It always used to, until around 2000. As a result (and because of the extra game) we get wild card playoff games in mid January in the Northeast and upper Midwest. Just asking for trouble, and absolutely ridiculous to play your most important games in the worst conditions.
  3. Actually, not a silly question…
  4. I doesn't matter if it's the Super Bowl. If fans, players and and officials can't get to the stadium (and home again), you can't play the game. Period. It won't require 7 feet of snow for the game to be moved...18-24 inches would probably do it. As I understand it, that's within the range of possibilities for Sunday.
  5. I don’t know how you can say that. Multiple games have been moved/postponed in the past and we know that there are certain weather conditions that could make it impossible to play the game in Orchard Park on Sunday. Those factors are definitely in play.
  6. I don't know about you, but the idea of leaning heavily on James Cook in a snowy, windy, slippery game like this makes me very uncomfortable. I'd probably start Fournette...
  7. I agree. In the playoffs, I want to see great football, where the best team wins. We have the best quarterback in the league and the conditions on Sunday could very well neutralize that advantage. That Ravens Steelers game last week was a disgusting slop-fest that's not good for the fans or the players. If we end up with something like that, I'll be pissed. We are supposed to enjoy a homefield advantage as a result of winning our division but instead, we're probably going to be stuck with conditions that swing the advantage to the inferior visiting team--a team that is at least as accustomed to playing in winter conditions as we are.
  8. This is really cringe-worthy...Can we at least get to one Super Bowl before we erect a monument to our General Manager? And with regard to the bolded, speak for yourself...
  9. So Saleh is going to survive? Is that certain now?
  10. Bears will be an interesting team to watch this offseason. If they make the right moves, they could be poised for a huge leap forward…a lot of people criticized them for the Montez Sweat trade, but that’s looking like a really nice move.
  11. Absolutely. As dynamic as Cook can be, he is not a guy to grind out the tough yards and I believe one of his drops will cost the Bills dearly in the playoffs. Fournette is looking like an astute F/A signing...
  12. They are playing a game of chicken...Kraft wants to move on from Belichick, but he knows there are other franchises that are interested in hiring him and he'd like to get some sort of draft pick compensation in a trade. Belichick wants to leave but he doesn't want his new team to have to give up draft picks, so he's standing pat, saying he's content to stay in NE. I think Kraft is going to lose this game because time is running out...he'll eventually give Belichick his walking papers and hire Vrabel.
  13. I think Tom Brady was like 199 for 200 over his career on QB sneaks, without any special play design or anyone pushing him from behind. Why couldn’t someone like Josh Allen, who’s the same size as Brady and much more athletic, duplicate that success?
  14. Those focusing on Josh’s turnovers are ignoring the fact that the Bills had zero “three and outs” in the game, moved the ball up and down field with ease all night, and had a massive TOP edge that kept our defense fresh and denied the Dolphins’ offense chances to score.
  15. I do too…I just think people are overrating the Browns and underrating the Texans. Flacco is about to turn into a pumpkin.
  16. I thought perhaps Bills Mafia was somehow being blamed for the murder of the Bills fan in Miami…
  17. You mean they aren’t still thankful to Siriani and Hurts for last year’s trip to the Super Bowl?
  18. Imagine the Eagles’ board right now…
  19. Chicago is about to get a massive influx of talent, thanks to astute draft day trades. If they decide to keep Fields they are going to get a massive haul for the pick they got from Carolina…they will possibly be able to add MHJ or Odunze to their receiving corps, to go along with DJ Moore…the Bears’ future is bright indeed.
  20. That series was permeated by by the odor of McDermott’s fear…
  21. He may have played his last game as a Bill…
  22. We don’t play the winner of KC Miami unless it’s the Chiefs. Pretty unlikely that we’ll play Miami again this year…
  23. Problem is, if Miami wins, they’d go to Baltimore the next week and get killed.
