Want me to point out some of JA’s less than stellar possessions today? Barkley had zero time to throw and he still managed to move the ball down the field.

C'mon, that's ridiculous. I don't want Barkley to have to start more than a game or two, but he's an above average backup and I thought he played pretty well today. He is much more decisive than Allen and gets rid of the ball a lot faster. I agree Barkley doesn't have a real strong arm, but it's good enough. His biggest problem, especially with our o-line, is his lack of mobility, but getting rid of the ball quickly helps.

That was the biggest difference I noticed after Allen came out of the game: Barkley gets rid of the ball much faster. Allen held on to the ball forever; reminded me of Tyrod in his worst games.

The good news: The defense was flat-out awesome. I've never seen Brady look worse. The bad news: This game is proof that the Pats aren't going away after Brady retires, as long as Belichick is still on the other sideline . Brady stunk today and they still beat us on our home field.

For all those who think we should just "take the points" there in the fourth quarter, down by 6, I assume you were also pissed when McDermott went for it on fourth and goal from the 1, when Josh punched it in, right? If not, why not? Also, people complaining about McDermott going for it there apparently are forgetting that the Pats took over on the two yard line (instead of the 25 or better after a kickoff) and gave the Bills possession at midfield about a minute and half later. Yet another reason to go for the TD in that situation. The correct decision doesn't always result in winning the game, but it still maximizes your chances.
