Yes, you’re wrong. A few people were concerned about the 40 time, but no one thought it wasn’t a position of need, which it clearly was. That’s just not true, especially WRT the Singletary pick. Both were highly regarded prospects at positions of need, and neither was considered a reach. I recall zero outrage here. But feel free to prove otherwise by posting a link...

I’d have to say it’s an anomaly, especially when you compare it to the success rate of guys taken in the second round during the same time (Michael Thomas, Tyler Boyd, JuJu, DJ Chark, Cooper Cupp, Debo Samuel, DK Metcalf, etc...). With all the time and money spent on scouting, there is no rationale explanation for guys selected later to outperform the first rounders. Still, it makes you wonder...(I’d take Diggs over Cooper, BTW)

No way we would get a third round pick from AZ in that scenario. At most, they would agree to swap third-round picks with us. Might still make sense for that return... You don't really think AZ would do that deal, do you?

I had no idea that there was a chance Jones would not be back in KC...guy is a monster and is clearly their best defensive player, and he's young. I can't believe they wouldn't find a way to bring him back.

I'm not saying Simmons won't be good, but I'm trying to imagine another year of rooting for a team that struggles to score more than 17 points a game...our defense will be just fine without Simmons
