  1. Nonsense. Henry is a great back, but he does not belong in the MVP discussion. Tanehill has had a very good year and the Titans have a bunch of other offensive weapons besides Henry. If Henry were out, they’d be diminished, but they’d still be a good offense. Can’t say the same about any of the top QBs.
  2. Really no way to distinguish between the three based on those numbers. What a season for Josh!
  3. I believe he is the son of Lonnie Johnson, if that’s who you were thinking of.
  4. They are lucky if he didn't break a rib or two...That could have been the end of the Chiefs' season.
  5. I don't doubt that. Pederson certainly should know how to evaluate QBs...
  6. You mean because he kept trotting Wentz out there? It's amazing how many coaches can't even properly evaluate their own players...
  7. Well, the Carson Wentz apologists are having another tough week...
  8. Whoever said Romo has gone downhill as an announcer was 100 percent correct. He's become a bit of a ball-washer.
  9. That was Romo, being too clever by half...It was an idiotic comment.
  10. I guess Deshaun Watson is the counterpoint to that argument, but there is definitely a tendency for college QBs to be mis-evaluated based on the team around them. Mahomes, Allen and Rodgers all played on pretty bad college teams...
  11. I tend to agree, but I'm not convinced Lawrence is such a slam dunk franchise QB, like most people seem to think. He's played on an insanely talented college team that completely outmatched their opponents in the vast majority of their games. Again, I'm not saying he won't succeed, but I'm just a little hesitant about a guy whose had a gold-plated road to success...He's going to find things are MUCH different in East Rutherford, or wherever the Jests call home these days.
  12. Maybe Darnold can do better on a new team, but he's going to have to earn it. No one is going to hand him a starting job, at this point. Wherever he goes, he's going to have real competition for a starting job.
  13. What have you been watching the last three years? I'd love to see Darnold in NE. Belichick will never do it, though.
  14. Perennial Pro-Bowler. They hit a home run with that pick.
  15. I didn't say he isn't great; my point is, he's had a pretty easy ride and when a good defense gets after him, he can be made to look shaky, like today.
  16. Not that he has much to prove, but Mahomes is providing some ammo for those who say JA is the top QB in the league right now. He does not look great when he has to face adversity, which is something he's seldom had to do in his career. Josh, on the other hand, has faced and overcome a ton of adversity, from day 1.
  17. Well, the Jets are going to have to assess Darnold, as will any team that is thinking about trading for him. And based on the available evidence, he's not very good.
  18. This will be an unpopular opinion, but Drew Brees needs to hang 'em up. The Saints are a better team with Hill at QB, as limited as he may be.
  19. I would not make that trade. Darnold is a decent and cheap back-up level QB. (Jets have to draft a QB even if they can't land Lawrence.) Wentz will be lucky to be on a roster next year and that contract is absolute poison.
  20. Thanks. I was wondering how your fantasy team was doing today.
  21. It shouldn’t matter, but the fact that it’s a Monday night game will probably make it less likely the Bills will rest guys. Guys want to play in that spotlight...
  22. Not surprising. All these guys were dominant HS athletes. The way to win HS games is to give the ball to a great athlete, if you’ve got one, which is why so many of them played QB or RB, regardless what position they play now.
