  1. So, for example, in 2016, it wasn’t fair to call for Rex Ryan to be fired unless you had a ready replacement on the tip of your tongue? 😀 Sorry, that’s not how it works…in this business, if you’re not getting the job done, you’re out, regardless whether there’s a Sean McVay or Brandon Staley waiting in the wings…and that goes double for a place like TSW of course…
  2. I would have liked to see a higher percentage play on third down, knowing you’re going to go for it on fourth and short. I can’t recall if we had a timeout left or not, so that could have been a limiting factor, but you’d really like to see a Josh Allen run somewhere in the mix down there. And yes, he should have gone for it on fourth and 3, but it would have taken some big balls.
  3. Look, I'm not the owner or the general manager of the Buffalo Bills so I don't spend a lot of time scouting up and coming offensive coordinators or other candidates who my team might hire in the event that we are going to fire our HC. What I do know is that every year there are promising candidates available, such as Brandon Staley, for example. I also know that McDermott isn't going anywhere, no matter how badly the Bills finish this season, so this is purely a theoretical discussion. But I believe McDermott has shown that he's not capable of taking this team to the Super Bowl and winning it, which should be the goal, not just making the playoffs. We are wasting the prime years of Josh Allen's career.
  4. There are good candidates available every year…too early to say who the best candidates are…but you already knew that
  5. You’re setting the bar too low. McDermott is not good enough. He continues to cost this team games. This isn’t the 2010 Bills…we have a new owner and a superstar QB…we don’t have to settle for a mediocre defensive coordinator as our head coach any longer. The best and brightest in the game would love the opportunity to coach a team with 24-year old Josh Allen.
  6. Creative play calling in the red zone…interesting.
  7. Well, in the Tennessee game, they were marching up and down the field on us, so by your logic, going for the win in regulation was definitely the right call.
  8. Again, it was absolutely the right decision in Tennessee. The play was botched, in more than one way, but it was the right decision because it gave them the best chance to win.
  9. Ridiculous…Trubisky won a lot of games with a pretty feeble stable of offensive weapons in Chicago…there’s no reason to think he can’t beat this shell of a Carolina team, at home, in a game like this. It would also be interesting to see just how much this team relies on Josh Allen…
  10. Every season McDermott remains the head coach is a year of Josh’s career wasted. He’s regressed…badly.
  11. Agreed, but I still hate the call. Just seems low percentage…I want Josh on the move there…
  12. Knox is good, but he can’t be your only TE. We need another…preferably one who can block as well as catch.
  13. We need more offensive weapons almost as much as this post needs punctuation…
  14. Might have been heartbreaking, but trying to win was the right call there.
  15. Can’t put Josh out there next week if he’s not right. This is why we signed Trubisky…he absolutely should be able to beat Carolina.
  16. The failure to go for the TD at the end of regulation was an absolute killer, although I’m sure many here disagree. No way do I let TB and his friends in the black and white stripes have another chance at it. Gotta win the game there. I so wish Frank Reich was our coach.
  17. This loss was entirely on McDermott…just absolutely unforgivable decisions throughout the game. Kicking the FG early; punting on 4th and 3, kicking the 25-yd FG on 4th and 2 at the end, instead of trying to win it with a TD, and that despicable series of offensive plays in OT…Loser.
  18. Reverted to atrocious play calling in OT. Unbelievable
  19. Josh with 101 rushing yards…300 and 100?
  20. Defense would need a stop…might as well try an onside kick
  21. Josh isn’t one to slide, is he?
  22. I would not let him on the plane.
