  1. Leonard Williams was very good, and turned great as soon as he became a Giant.
  2. And they all turned out to be good players—some great players
  3. As the Washington Football Team has proven, assembling a great defensive line, especially with high draft picks, is a lousy way to build an NFL team.
  4. I’d consider a fourth round pick for McCaffery, subject to his passing a physical. He is not now and never has been a “top 5” player or top 50 for that matter.
  5. The first three are under contract and would require a team to mortgage it’s future…and of course, it’s anyone’s guess whether Watson even sees the field in 2022. Bridgewater? Really? I agree Trubisky’s not a bad option, but no one really wanted him last year and he hasn’t done anything to burnish his resume. no one’s going to hand him their starting job.
  6. 1989 49ers were absolutely incredible. I don’t know how they lost a game. The Super Bowl that year was like Alabama vs Louisiana Tech.
  7. It’s a good idea…Sort of a football version of Jim Cramer…
  8. I remember the outrage in Buffalo when the Bills opted to use the first overall pick on a defensive end from Virginia Tech instead of a certain diminutive Heisman Trophy winner.
  9. I tend to agree with this…the analytics guys would argue that losing all five one-score games is more the result of blind luck than bad coaching, and that the Bills are due to revert to the mean…maybe even in these playoffs.
  10. No, Thurman would not have been worthy of the second overall pick if Josh Allen was still on the board. Not even close.
  11. Gettleman’s career is evidence that a random assortment of casual football fans can outperform some absurdly highly compensated NFL General Managers. An empty suit… And yet Thurman was a second round pick.
  12. What’s stupid is pushing the season deeper into December and January in the Upper Midwest and Northeast. It shows blatant disregard for the game and the fans. There is no reason for the regular season to start after Labor Day.
  13. It’s been a worse than normal weather year for Bills home games and it definitely hurt the offensive numbers, but the team’s (and Josh’s) worst performance of the year was on a picture perfect day in Jacksonville. Go figure.
  14. Absolutely the best case scenario! Even better if Colts beat Chiefs and play Tenn in round 2, while we face Cin. NE winner
  15. Zero completions to RBs is puzzling on a day like yesterday, especially with how effective that was against NE…hopefully they go back to it…
  16. Jamar Chase against Levi Wallace and/or Dane Jackson is not something I look forward to as a Bills fan…
  17. Much rather play NE than the Bengals or Colts. Those are bad matchups for us, and I’d like to see those teams face each other in round 1, while we play the Pats.
  18. No denying that, but it shows real progress in an area of severe concern.
  19. With Josh Allen, I’ve come to believe you can just throw out the stats…to understand his value as a player you just have to watch the games…and that’s why he probably won’t be winning NFL MVP awards anytime soon, even though he should.
  20. Another positive: second consecutive game where Josh was neither sacked nor seriously pressured.
  21. Is there a coherent thought in here somewhere?
  22. I wasn’t at the game, but it certainly did not look like a good day to pass the football…to assert otherwise is just foolish.
  23. Josh made a few mistakes, but he did more for his team to win the game than Ryan did. And let’s be honest, those were awful conditions. Would any QB have had a really good day?
