  1. They did nothing to increase their draft capital with these moves. (They already had plenty.) And Watson is radioactive at the moment. No one is trading anything for him until there is some sort of resolution to his current "situation".
  2. Are you serious? Nothing Tua did last year would make anyone think that. And Wilkins "a stud"? Are you a Dolphins fan, cause I don't know many non-dolphins fans who would say either of those things.
  3. But it’s only a “problem” if the guys you picked played really well, otherwise you just decline the option. That’s why it’s a first world problem.
  4. I agree that they will probably be able to get their guy at 6, but they did not pick up a single extra pick this year in exchange for making a very significant move back in a loaded draft year. The only first round pick they got is two years down the road and is from a team that probably will finish pretty high in the standings. And I hate the Texans for single-handedly making Miami a pesky contender.
  5. Because they did not reap even a single extra pick this year from making substantial move back in a fairly loaded draft (not that they really need more pick this year, mind you).
  6. Exactly. And the QBs available this year are certainly comparable to what was available in 2018, so they have no excuse.
  7. That was different. It was an awful draft. Hope you enjoyed your Dion Jordan experience..😀
  8. I know. They're f-ing stacked. I don't think Tua necessarily gets two more years to prove himself. If he doesn't show better this year, they could move on sooner than that.
  9. I get it--they're still probably going to get their guy at 6, but in 2018 the Colts got three second round picks from the Jets to drop back from 3 to 6. And the third they got this year is a comp pick, more like a fourth rounder, really.
  10. I suspect so, either in the first or second round. But they don't have the ammunition to move up very far.
  11. My issue is that a first round pick two years from now (especially from a team like SF) is not worth very much. It's not like getting an extra first this year.
  12. How did they "clean up"? They got a third round pick next year and a first round pick in 2023, which is worth less than a second round pick this year, to move from 3 to 6. The Jets traded three second round picks, including two in that year's draft, to move from 6 to 3 in 2018.
  13. Miami is doing a very good job of rebuilding, but if they're wrong about Tua, it could all be for naught. Thank God they weren't smart enough to draft Herbert last year.
  14. I'd be OK with Harris or Etienne at 30. I would NOT be ok with a trade up for them.
  15. Nope. The Jets would have traded that pick to SF if they weren't going to take a QB. I'm sure SF inquired.
  16. I don't think that's very good value. A first in 2023 is worth about a third round pick this April, and the Niners are likely to be picking late for the forseeable future.
  17. Wow! So they got a third and a 2023 first to move back from 3 to 6. I don't think that's very good value for Phins.
  18. Unlikely it's for a receiver. They already have Kittle, Samuel and Aiuk. They're set there. Gotta be for a QB and they must love Fields, Jones or Lance, because that's what's going to be available there.
  19. I would imagine SF tried to get the second pick from the Jets, but the Jets weren't trading it or the price was too high. I'm guessing they already have their hearts set on Wilson.
