  1. When did the Dolphins get pick 4? Did they trade again?
  2. I know it's early, but it's certainly looking like Miami may have whiffed on all three of its first round picks last year...almost Browns-like, really.
  3. I think it's going to be WR and CB at 30 and 61, but not necessarily in that order. It will depend who's there and which group they think is deeper. Both seem pretty deep to me and, after the first couple guys, no real consensus as to who's in the next tier, which I think is good for us..
  4. This is good news for the defense. Just imagine how many makeup artists Watson didn't sexually assault....
  5. Bill, are the Phins planning to start four offensive tackles this year?😄 We can only hope...
  6. “Withdrawn” isn’t really a legal term. Complaints that are filed, but don’t make it to trial are dismissed. Complaints are dismissed for all sorts of reasons, including settlements or a judge finding that the case has no merit.
  7. Seems like it; it’s seems that the plaintiff just dismissed her own case, for some reason. Can’t tell why. She might re-file it, or not. That should not be necessary. The existing complaints can just be amended to add the plaintiffs’ real names.
  8. Don't get me wrong, but these draft grades don't exactly inspire confidence in your rankings of the 2021 prospects. I'm not picking on you; this list seems to be consistent with most experts' lists over the same time period. It just shows that not many "experts" are actually very good at projecting which college QBs are going to be good in the pros. It's also why I disregard people who say that guys like Zach Wilson and Mac Jones don't deserve to go in the top three. I actually just heard Greg Cosell call Mac Jones a "bad athlete" 😄.
  9. Plaintiffs can dismiss their own cases. Happens all the time. There are all kinds of reasons one of these cases might have been dismissed. The dismissed case might even get re-filed. That’s not uncommon, either. Trying to think who Hardin looks like...
  10. I simply cannot believe the Bills will be looking at an O-lineman at 30. They are set at OT and the interior is pretty strong, too. They will be looking for someone who will come in and contribute this year, which means WR, CB or possibly Etienne or an edge like Paye or Phillips if they slide to 30.
  11. Yeah, lucky us. Of course, it was still necessary for us to trade up in the second round in order to take advantage of this great good fortune.
  12. With the 21st selection in the TSW mock draft, the Indianapolis Colts select Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech. We were tempted to go edge here, because there was someone we liked, and it's a need, but we just could not pass up Farley. We had him as the top corner in the draft by a comfortable margin based on his tape, size and off-the-charts athleticism. If not for his back issue, which our doctors have cleared, we are convinced Farley might have gone in the top six of this draft. If the Colts are going to take the next step, we need someone who can match up with Tyreek Hill and Stephon Diggs. @bkep32 is on the clock.
  13. Can't see the Eagles reaching for WR in round 1 two years in a row...
  14. True regarding Jones. It's a problem with evaluating QBs from teams like OSU, Clemson and Alabama. Teams will have to look at the tape and see what's there. I will say, Jones was far more consistent than Fields.
  15. Lance didn't opt out; I think his school just didn't have a season this year, other than one game, in which he didn't play very well. He's only got one season of 1-AA football under his belt. And although he put up great numbers that year, he was playing on a dominant team that did not ask him to even throw the ball all that much. Maybe red flag isn't the right term, but there are serious questions about him. He's probably going to benefit from the Josh Allen effect; a few years ago, I doubt he'd be discussed as a first round pick. Fields was inconsistent and again, played on a loaded team where he was throwing to wide open guys most of the time. And I don't think the OSU QB thing can be ignored. I'd be shocked if a team like Washington, just coming off the Haskins fiasco, would want to roll the dice again.
  16. With the top 3 WRs off the board, Indy is open to a modest trade back...
  17. They might not like either guy...both have serious red flags. Personally, I wouldn't draft either in the first round and I would not be surprised to see them both fall out of the top 12.
