Snyder was accused of groping one woman in 2009, an allegation he denied...most definitely not worse than what Watson was accused of—and what Sue Robinson concluded Watson actually did. This sort of “whataboutism” isn’t going to save Watson.

The tanking claim was certainly the most explosive allegation in the complaint, but even if it was true, I'm not sure what damages Flores could have proven. The harm would have been to the league, not to him personally. I don't know how hard or easy it would have been to prove the other stuff...that's why we've got discovery.

Yep, the Steelers are in a brutal division and it’s not an organization (or fanbase) that will accept a 4-13 rebuilding season under a rookie QB. Mitch has played in the league for five years and he’s won a lot of games. I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t start every game that he’s healthy.

Probably true, but until proven otherwise, I'm not going to assume that McDaniel is an upgrade at HC. In fact, from what I've seen so far, he's a clown.

I don’t think the NFLPA was tipped off to Robinson’s decision; much more likely that they just feel it’s going to go their way based on how the hearing went, questions she may have asked, or comments she may have made…but if it was so obvious that the league is going to lose, then you would think they would have been anxious to settle, and that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Nah, the Panthers saw enough of Darnold last year. He’s the backup.

Four years in the league and he’s already got more highlights than all the other Bills QBs since 1960 (other than Jim Kelly) combined.

I would take Josh Allen over Justin Herbert 10 out of 10 times. Herbert is a great talent but he just has a way of coming up small in the big moments (kinda like the Chargers). He is nowhere near the leader that Josh is.

This kind of thing just never gets old.

You are correct…there is no comparison. Watson is accused of forcing himself on dozens of women; Kraft had consensual sex with one woman, for money.

If Josh Allen were the team's only selection in the 2018 draft, it would probably still go down as the best draft in Bills history. Everything else is gravy.

Browns got almost nothing for Mayfield...I wonder if this means they believe Watson will not face a lengthy suspension....

And more importantly, any "punishment" meted out to Watson, the Browns or Haslam will have zero impact on future contracts.

I don't really understand the NFL asking for an "indefinite suspension". Why aren't they asking for a suspension for a specific amount of time? Are they saying that their investigation is ongoing and they can't make a final disciplinary decision until all the facts are known? That's the only thing that makes sense. I have no clue what Sue Robinson will decide...she certainly appears to be smart and experienced, though.
