  1. Same with Cam Newton and now his career is over at 33 years old. It's true that QB's are more likely to get injured standing in the pocket and getting hit while they throw, but running 10-15 times a game is just not sustainable if you want Josh to have a long career. There is a reason even the best RBs only last a few years in the league. That being said, I think it's probably just something we have to live with at this point in Josh's career. I doubt it can be coached out of him, but maybe there are things they can do schematically to minimize it.
  2. Yeah, I think he called his own number on the majority of those runs. He was also quick to tuck the ball away and run when he felt pressure from the pass rush. It's highly effective, but of course you worry about the sustainability over a long season. I'm not sure it's something that can be coached out of Josh at this point of his career. He's just too competitive.
  3. I don't think that's on Dorsey. I think Josh was calling his own number on most of those runs.
  4. Foot on the throat…F these guys!
  5. Throw to Crowder, coming right up…
  6. The Bills are very poor at taking away a team’s best weapon.
  7. Can’t beat a good team when you turn it over three times. Just can’t.
  8. I don’t recall them ever running that pitch sweep last year…
  9. I’m predicting that McDaniel is going to prove to be a very bad hire for the Dolphins…
  10. I can't even imagine OJ in today's NFL; he had excellent hands and would have been devastating in the passing game...there just are no RBs remotely like him in the NFL these days...the superior athletes are playing WR now instead.
  11. I love Thurman, but he couldn't carry OJ Simpson's jock strap. Not even in the same universe, athletically. I have to assume you're just trolling...
  12. I don’t think it’s that bad; Roethlisberger was an absolute statute for the past few years.
  13. I agree…if Mitch doesn’t play well, he won’t be the starter for long. The Steelers have some pretty nice weapons, though, so he at least has a chance….
  14. Even after only four seasons, it's hard to argue with that...
  15. Yep. The Steelers are in a very tough division and they aren't a franchise (or fanbase) that would accept a 4-13 "rebuilding" season with a raw rookie QB...
  16. It's official now...MT is the starter
  17. Probably one of the worst takes in the history of TSW…I don’t even know where to start.
  18. OJ in his prime was unquestionably the best player in the NFL, not just the best RB, something you could not say about any other Bill in franchise history, although I expect Josh Allen will change that shortly.
  19. I think they might be a 4-13 team this year…if they get blown out by Miami in week 1, watch out.
  20. None of the people mentioned in the second paragraph are even close to OJ…he is the only Buffalo Bill who, for at least a couple seasons, was the best player in the entire NFL.
