  1. I liken it to their Rivers signing two years ago…Ryan’s got one more year left…he’s running on fumes.
  2. Sorry, Stef…you’re under contract for two more years…
  3. Probably, but that means they don’t make that trade with the Jets and maybe the Jets take him at 6…
  4. If Luck announces his retirement a little sooner, the colts would have been prime candidates to draft Josh Allen…or Sam Darnold…
  5. Colts with Mayfield at QB no better than Browns with Mayfield…in other words, Who cares?
  6. Why? We keep using day 2–not day 3–picks on RB. I can’t even remember the last day 3 pick we spent on the position.
  7. I understand that in about a month, NFL teams are allowed to add a certain number of college players to their rosters, through some sort of selection process…some of the players are quite good…
  8. Ok, si the “no sack” streak started the next week…whenever Bates was added.
  9. Who? I doubt that. He wasn’t sacked a single time in those games. Not once.
  10. I was talking about the last six games, including the playoffs
  11. I don’t recall everyone saying that after XXV, but if they did, then they were right, weren’t they?
  12. I’m not sure how you can say that. No one laid so much as a glove on Josh for the last month of the season…oh, and the running was good too.
  13. Yep…it’s not likely the Bills will ever have a clearer path to the Lombardi than they had this year…sure, we’ll always be in the mix as long as Josh is around, but those 13 seconds are looking bigger all the time.
  14. Any word on the compensation? Is Baker headed to Houston?
  15. It makes sense, but once Bates was inserted as the starter at LG, the O line played very well last year. I don’t think Josh took a sack in the last 5 games…How much more “protection” does he need?
  16. Probably, but it’s not unusual for edge rushers to take a while to develop…especially a tweener like AJ
  17. The fact is, those guys have a total of four year’s experience between them. It’s smart to sign cheap veteran depth when we have no idea what we’ve got.
  18. Not to mention, McGahee’s knee injury was much more severe…
  19. Of course they are, but there’s still every likelihood they go WR in the first and CB in the second…it will all depend how the board falls…
  20. Agreed. If the evaluation is comparable, why take a guy who’s injured, especially at that position?
  21. Well, the Saints are clearly better than Atlanta—simply by virtue of the fact that they have a defense—but they’re not going to be in good shape after what they’re going to have to give up to land Watson. And I really don’t think anyone’s going to be worried about Thomas at this stage…Atlanta was in playoff contention too, until they lost to the Bills in week 17. They were both in a horrible division and played extremely weak schedules.
