  1. They use Hardman, who’s also really good, so I suppose they don’t want to expose Hill to injury, but the guy never seems to get hurt.
  2. I don’t know why the Chiefs didn’t use Hill as their regular punt returner…do you remember how scary that was when they put him back there in the playoff game? He’d break 4 or 5 returns per year, minimum.
  3. Chiefs probably want pick 4, which allows them to draft the top WR on the board. I think they’d also want the Jet’s second rounder.
  4. I’m guessing the price is two first rounders, or at least what GB got for Adams…can you imagine him on the Bills??
  5. There is no one in the league who can cover Tyreek Hill…There are a number of CBs who can cover Diggs pretty well. Hill changes the entire defense…
  6. Yes he is. The Chiefs are a completely different team without him.
  7. I agree. And those teams won’t have Mahomes delivering the ball to him…the Dolphins with Waddle and Hill would be a bit scary though.
  8. As great as he is, Hill’s contract demands are obviously through the roof and he’s already 28 years old…I think the number of teams would potentially trade a first round pick (and more) for him is limited, and there’s no way they trade him to the AFC.
  9. They aren’t using pick 25 on a low value position like RB or IOL, we can be sure of that. So it’s CB, WR or Edge. I think McDermott believes he can fill the CB2 slot with a mid-round pick, and there’s not much room on the roster for another edge rusher. That makes WR the most likely target, and I think they’ll be looking to add speed and YAC, which means Dotson or Burks. I also think they’d run to the podium for either of the Ohio State guys. Williams is interesting, but I think they’re all in for 2022 and he might not be able to help much until next year.
  10. Some people are projecting Araiza as high as round 3…Bills aren’t planning to punt much, so I doubt they value him higher than round 6…
  11. He probably also didn’t like spending two years riding the bench behind scrubs…
  12. I mostly agree. No way Beane drafts 8 players this year. I expect at least a couple of the later picks to be used to move up in the 2nd or 3rd rounds, or to turn the 4th into a 3rd. I'm counting on at least one late round pick being used on a punter, but probably not Araiza...I don't think we'll be punting often enough to justify more than a 6th rounder on this position and it will have to be someone who can hold for FGs, which Araiza has never done.
  13. As I recall, Crowder had a big game against us in the season opener a year or two ago…he might have had a dozen catches…I remember thinking “this guy is a pain in the ass”.
  14. It would cost far more than next year’s 2nd to move from 25 to the top 12. More like 25 and two second round picks. And it will take more than our 3rd and 4th rounders to move back into the first round…sorry to rain on your parade…
  15. Well, the “financial penalty” will be whatever Watson has to pay to settle the civil cases, so that’s probably why the league isn’t too concerned…
  16. Nah, Rivers was lousy in his last year in SD…worse than Ryan in 2021, who was playing for a bad team with only one real weapon (who was a rookie).
  17. $14M isn’t outrageously low, and Diggs willl be 30 when his current deal expires…paying a guy already under contract more $ is the kind of thing you might have to pass on when your QB is no longer on his rookie deal…
