Of course there is a huge dead-cap hit if he is cut…not sure if that is affected by the timing…if Ogunjobi is cut, he would probably go down as Beane’s worst FA signing ever…
I think with the offensive line the Bills have built, the team could easily go .500 or better if Josh were to miss an extended stretch of games. The floor is fairly high when you have a deep, talented o-line.
No one has a worse draft history than the Bears. Passed on Mahomes for Trubisky (while trading up from 3 to 2), and passed on Jaden Daniels for Caleb Darnold.
It hasn’t been ideal, but it’s been far from a disaster. Most of the injuries have been to guys who were not expected to start right away, and none of the injuries have been of the season-ending variety. I think the Bills are probably being exceedingly cautious with most of these injured players. I don’t think huge concern is warranted.
I’ve got my story straight; you don’t. On the rep in question, Cover 1 called out Walker for getting taken for a ride…I already told you where to find it….
A win or loss might not mean much for the team’s overall prospects, but it could very well be the difference between playing the AFCCG in Baltimore or playing it at Highmark…hardly insignificant
Interest (ie, ratings) and profits have never been higher…I’m pretty sure the NFL does not consider this a problem…if anything, the league will move in the other direction (even less padded practice, more non-Sunday games, etc).
You don’t see the difference in evaluating a prospect who’s going into year 2, after being injured most of his rookie year, and a guy who’s already completed three full NFL seasons?
