Do you see the Josh Allen era Bills as having a "window"?
mannc replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
As of now, there has never been an NFL quarterback with Josh’s combined running and passing ability. At some point, Josh will start to decline as a running threat, but will remain an elite QB for years after that. I’d say the next 3-4 seasons is the Bills’ window with peak Josh Allen, but their Super Bowl window will remain open for many years after that, with a somewhat less dynamic, but still elite, JA. -
Not very generous, calling Hurts borderline top 10. I mean, who’s definitely better right now, besides Allen and Mahomes (and maybe Burrow)?

Unfortunately, the Bills never had Willis McGahee pre knee injury...

Was the Bronco's 2018 Draft the Worst in NFL History?

Hard to top Seattle trading two firsts and a third to the Jets for a safety. -
Isaiah Hodgins claimed off waivers by Giants

When did we waive him? When T White was activated? -
Was the Bronco's 2018 Draft the Worst in NFL History?
mannc replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh yeah, how about the Jets’ 2018 draft? Or the Browns’ 2018 draft? Or the Giants’ 2018 draft? -
Nice!!! (that I'll be able to watch the Bills from home) But Rams v. Tampa Bay is simply an awful nationally-televised late game. Good lord....

Yes!!! I’ve always liked Hines. Very dangerous runner…

I will be forever grateful to Bradley Chubb for being the player John Elway coveted more than Josh Allen. What a dunce….

On the other hand, the Bears traded Roquan Smith to the Ravens after we played the Ravens and before we play Chicago.
-
And traded to a division rival...crazy.

The Jets Are Going to Copy the Packers' Game Plan, Right?

I knew Jones was a good back, but man, last night he played like his hair was on fire. Best performance I’ve seen by an opposing back in forever. -
NFL Week 8: Packers at Bills - post game thread
mannc replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
This sort of ugly game was entirely predictable. Packers were a desperate team, with a HOF QB and plenty of talent on defense (no. 1 ranked pass defense in the league). They are a team that’s won 13 games, 3 years in a row…not a team likely to mail it in against a team like Buffalo, on national TV. This was never going to be a walkover. I’m just glad the Bills came out on top. In previous years, they would have lost a game like this. -
Glazer: Bills called about kamara, turned down

Cook is “a dimension like that”. He just needs the opportunity. He’s looked better each week. -

Two plays, very poorly schemed. GB has the worst run defense in the league. -

Play calling has been deplorable. Absolutely no reason to be throwing this much against this team. I simply do not understand it. -
Love Bears getting 10 at Dallas…not sure they can win outright, but I’ll go with it.

You would have to be unbelievably naïve to believe that narrative.

Broncos getting trade calls for Jeudy and Chubb
mannc replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills are going to draft at least one WR every year…they are a WR-centric offense and they will always want new blood in the pipeline. If they trade a second or third for Jeudy, I just consider that their 2023 WR investment in advance. I haven’t followed Jeudy closely as a pro, but I know that (1) he was considered possibly the most talented receiver in the draft when he came out, and (2) he’s played in an absolute garbage offense since day one as a pro. Based on those two things alone, I’d say he’s worth a serious look from the Bills. FWW, I’ve never heard anything negative about him as a person; Alabama guys tend to have their s**t together. -
Yeah, regardless of the Packers’ problems on offense, this isn’t Kenny Pickett or Ryan Tannehill coming to Orchard Park… their defense is extremely talented and their whole season is on the line this week. I’m not saying Green Bay will win, but this will be a desperate, dangerous team we’re playing Sunday night. It will probably not be a pushover.
