    I agree...looks to me like all of the big three will be gone by then. I had some hope that Odunze would last until then, but I think his combine performance put that to rest. And yes, it seems a little high to pick Thomas Jr, Worthy, or Mitchell. Any such trade would have to be a draft day situation, dependent on who's available.

    Especially at safety. Twenty 2023 starting safeties are free agents. Help is going to come cheap at that position.

    The trade could just be a case of the organization doing right by Ryan Bates…giving him a chance to start for an NFL team, an opportunity he really doesn’t have in Buffalo, barring injury. At the same time, it’s not a trade that hurts the Bills in any significant way…

    I think the only answer to this question is that it depends how day 1 plays out. Moving into the top 10 is out of the question and 20 is about as high as we could realistically get, so I think you have just wait until then and see who’s still left, but given the number of highly graded WRs and the lack of consensus, I’m staying put. I’d consider a move to 25 or 26, but that’s it.

    Correct. With holding now legalized in the playoffs, investing heavily in edge rush is a losing strategy.

    Bills have proven they can get great value with the lower cost FA and late round safties. I'd be shocked if they signed one of the big names or used even a day 2 pick on one.

    Diggs is effectively untradeable for multiple reasons, but mostly because the cap hit the Bills would have to absorb is unacceptable. There is absolutely zero chance of him being traded...about the same odds as the Bills trading Von Miller. Not happening.

    We’d better not pass on Troy Franklin for an undersized Penn State edge rusher with very little production in college. But of course it would not surprise me.

    I agree. It would be the direct opposite of their recent approach, i.e., letting Tyreek Hill walk instead of paying him, and trying to fill the gap with draft picks and second tier free agents.

    There may be fewer underclassmen declaring, but that’s just a factor of more good players using their full eligibility, therefore, theoretically, more good seniors in the draft. I kinda see it as a wash, unless we start seeing a lot of 24 and 25 year olds coming out. Good topic, though!
