  1. With the 6th pick in the TSW 2023 NFL Mock draft, the Detroit Lions select Devon Witherspoon, CB, Univ of Illinois. We were hoping Carter would fall to us, but we’re happy to take the best corner in the draft. Witherspoon is extremely physical and has great man-cover ability. Fills a huge need, too. @HappyDays and the LV Raiders are on the clock.
  2. My point is, it's hard to guess what a team would be willing to give up for a QB...it's true that Rodgers is on his last legs, but I'd take one year of Aaron Rodgers over a whole career of Carson Wentz...
  3. A year ago, Washington traded two third round picks for Carson Wentz😀
  4. I don’t think so. Rodgers is still a top 5 or 6 QB. If the Packers trade him, they are essentially taking a powder in 2023…I wouldn’t be surprised if they want 2 firsts
  5. We're not communicating clearly. My original statement was that the Pack would not trade Rodgers for only a second round pick and Corey Davis...I'm not sure why you took issue with that statement.
  6. You seriously think the Packers would trade him for anything less than a 1st?
  7. What on earth are you talking about?
  8. It would definitely cost them more than that.
  9. Awesome! Georgia Southern has a great football program. They’ve been a top program in 1-AA for more than 30 years and have produced a lot of really good players.
  10. It's certainly not the way we've run our offense overt the past three years, but I think it can work. And who would you rather throw the ball to in a bad-weather playoff game, a 5'9" slot receiver or a 6'4" TE with great hands? And how is a defense going to match up with both Knox and Kincaid? If Dalton Kincaid is there at 27, I don't know how you don't take him, although I definitely would not complain about taking Flowers or JSN there. (Most likely, all three will be gone by the time we pick.) I don't think I would take any of the other TEs at 27.
  11. We're not exactly loaded at slot, so...
  12. That would make it a little easier to swallow, but it still feels like a reach for a need, and does nothing to help Josh Allen.
  13. Because over the last 20 years or so, the biggest mistakes the Bills have made in draft are when they have gone into the draft with a “big hole to fill”. I would hate to see us use our first round pick to reach for a linebacker, and a trade up for a LB would be even worse.
  14. I have a sinking feeling Beane is going MLB with one of the first two picks, but I just could not bring myself to predict it.
  15. It's not a small school. WSU a mid-level school in a power five conference. Not a team that regularly goes to major bowls, but definitely not a bottom-feeder, either.
  16. Highly debatable, and changes year-to-year, except for Clemson, of course.
  17. In other words, exactly like the PAC 12 (or 10). PAC 12 had 25 players drafted in 2022; ACC had 21. They are basically the same. There is the SEC and Big 10 and then there's everyone else.
  18. Wait, did you really post this without knowing what school he’s from?
  19. Nice profile, but they don’t mention his DOB. Looks like he’ll probably be 24 years old before the start of the season. When combined with his size, that makes him a day-3 guy, I think.
  20. I just read that he’s from Washington State, not a “small school”.
  21. I think you’ll be disappointed in the draft. I bet we don’t take an OL until day 3…right or wrong, they think we are set at OL after the FA signings, and they still love Spencer Brown.
  22. The division is going to much tougher, as is the schedule in general, I think. 11-6 or even 10-7 is a realistic possibility
