  1. If you watched the Chargers' games, you would know that their WRs could not stretch the field at all. They were a dink and dunk team and their YPA was one of the worst in the league, despite having a top five QB. Their receivers stink and there is no way they don't take either Kincaid or a WR in the first round. With Herbert, they have the ability to outscore the Chiefs, but not with their current crop of receivers. Branch is a very good player, but that would be an unwise use of a first round pick.
  2. If the board falls this way, the Chargers would be insane not to pick Flowers or Kincaid. Their receiving “weapons” are pathetic.
  3. So the Texans are going to roll with Mills again? Inconceivable. If so, they will be sorely disappointed...
  4. Did anyone ever figure out why the Lions traded Hockenson last year? Was he a locker-room cancer? Would they really turn around and spend the 18th overall pick on a TE?
  5. Totally agree. There are some head scratchers, of course, but I’d bet that this sort of mock is as accurate (or inaccurate) as most of the experts’. And as a tool for figuring out who might be available when the Bills pick at 27 and 59, I think it’s really useful.
  6. Is that the third Cook brother, along with James and Dalvin?
  7. To me, "prayer service planned for ______________" means that person has died. As I said, just a completely bizarre situation.
  8. It’s an understandable reaction. When is the last time you heard of a church holding a “prayer service” for someone who is still alive? This whole thing is bizarre…
  9. I’m afraid so. Chargers really need some receivers who can stretch the field, though. Despite Herbert’s talent, they are a dink and dunk offense.
  10. With only 6 picks in a draft that lacks top end talent, I think the Bills will be listening to offers to trade back, unless by some miracle, their guy makes it to 27. As you said, though, who’s going to want to trade up? Raiders make a lot of sense.
  11. With the 3rd pick in the 2023 TSW Mock Draft 2.0, the Arizona Cardinals select Tyree Wilson, DE, Texas Tech. Wilson is easily the top edge rusher in this class, with a much higher upside than Will Anderson, who was not even a consideration for us. Wilson was double-teamed constantly at Texas Tech and still wreaked havoc. 6’6”, with an enormous wingspan and great athletic ability, Wilson reminds us of Julius Peppers. (He even looks like Peppers.) The Cards need help everywhere, so IRL, they would be seriously listening to offers for this pick, but in a no-trade mock, we’re going with the edge rusher with the most upside. The Colts and @BarleyNY are on the clock.
  12. Matthew Bergeron (OL, Syracuse) would seem to be a really good fit for the Bills. He tested well and has positional flexibility. Only problem is that 27 seems too early and he probably won't be available at 59...
  13. Interesting that you have Kincaid “falling” to 26. I wonder what the Bills would do if that happened. Would they consider him at 27? Try to jump ahead of Dallas, like they did last year for Elam?
  14. I don’t know why people are so down on Bennett…I assume it’s partly because of his age, but plenty of people like Hooker, and he’s just as old.
  15. How is there no TE in consideration here?
  16. yeah, I was probably being overly pessimistic
  17. Get ready to be pissed. I think Beane feels he’s already fortified the O-line in FA and they like Spencer Brown at RT. I am steeling myself for MLB and DT/Edge with the first two picks, not necessarily in that order.
  18. Right, because the Commanders definitely need to draft another defender.
  19. Please get your priorities straight.
  20. With the 82nd pick, the Washington Commanders select Max Duggan, QB, Texas Christian Univ. Let's be honest, the Commanders should probably take a QB with every single pick in this draft.
  21. How do you know this? You can't know who will be available at 27, much less if you could still get them in a trade back...
  22. With the 81st pick in the TSW 2023 Mock Draft, the Detroit Lions select Brenton Strange, TE, Penn State. This might be a hair early for Strange, but we did not want to miss the boat on this historic 2023 TE draft class. Strange is a do-it-all TE who provides fearsome blocking ability and above average size and athleticism--truly a tight end out of the Dan Campbell mold. Lions draft: 6: Devon Witherspoon CB 31: Jack Campbell, MLB 45: Dorian Thompson-Robinson, QB 55: Siaki Ika, DT 63: DJ Turner, CB 81: Brenton Strange, TE With this draft, the Lions have re-made their defense in a huge way and added a young quarterback with developmental potential. Will be looking to add a knee-biting, North-South RB in the later rounds... @NewEra and the Rams are on the clock...
  23. Who's catching the ball from your rookie QB? Because right now, they have a worse WR room than the 2018 Bills...
