  1. guys, while not downplaying the severity of his injury, i'm pretty sure fractures are less serious/career ending than blown ligaments/knees. Junior Seau's arm looked like that a couple years ago and he played again the next year. If it is a fracture, and no veins were disrupted (serious blood loss etc) I wouldnt be surprised to see him play again next year. Correct me if im wrong, but arent bone breaks more easily treated than blown knees?
  2. if we beat Houston, ill really be hoping we stick w Fitz. Somehow i think the coaching staff will go back to Trent. I've seen enough of Trent and think its time to move on. Go Bills
  3. the draft and "blowing it up" are the only things im interested in at this point. Jauron TO Trent Scoe all will be gone next year. I think KC, St Louis, Tampa, Oakland, and Buffalo will be battling for the top spot in the draft. I think well probably go 3-13. I bet well draft number 4
  4. There are a lot of bad, bad teams out there this year. Here are other teams I wouldnt want to be a fan of: Cleveland: mirror image to buffalo; cant find a qb; season after season of disappointment (4-12)? Tampa Bay: Rebuilding year but they seem really bad and havent been able to find a qb (3-13)? Kansas City: They stink (3-13) Oakland: Easily the last team i would want to be a fan of. JR is a bust (4-12) Washington: same situation as buff: head coach and qb gone at years end (6-10) Detroit: maybe they win 4 games this year? St. Louis: i think theyve already been shut out twice (2-14) Honorable Mentions: Tennessee, Miami, Carolina I think the bills will be worse this year than they have been in a long time, yet there are still 6 teams worse than us! My guess is we'll probably end up picking at number 7
  5. After thinking about it the last couple of days, I think these are the reasons Trent is not and will never be a franchise qb: Below average presence in pocket Doesnt manipulate defense w pump fakes, they manipulate him/ easy to read for cbs to jump routs Doesnt know how to throw the ball where only his WR can get it, if a Wr is covered he doesnt throw to him Cannot extend the play and buy time Unfortunately, all of these things cannot really be taught. His feel for the game does not seem to be where it needs to be. I'm pretty sure that's a recipe for failure
  6. Count me in too. Im really disheartened by the playcalling and trent's play.
  7. I'm excited that the weather is supposed to be iffy (increasing wind as the game goes on and a little rainy) but I really want to see Trent put out a solid outing in adverse weather conditions. Hopefully the weather magnifies both teams running game and we control the ball. Are Leo and McGee going to play? I hope so Go Bills
  8. I really like stevie johnson too. Trade Scoe and get him out there!
  9. In ESPN's Shwam segment with Chris Berman, he picked the Bills to beat the saints 27-26. He always shows the love. AG
  10. is leodis going to be able to play? I havent heard anything about his injury and I think hell be key in being left in man to cover their good receivers
  11. Time of possession is unbelievable in this game. 42-14 in favor of Miami.
  12. I think this is a great idea. It's important the players know the overwhelming majority of the fans are upstanding citizens and feel awful about what happened at his house. If I was there I'd be chanting with you.
  13. Buffalo Bills 2009: "Dont get your hopes up"
  14. I don't think I've ever gone into a game with such low expectations. After watching the steelers game last night, it was so apparent why big ben is so good; he just prolongs the play until his wide receivers finally come open, something I dont think trent (like bledsoe) does very well. On a positive note, one thing I remembered about trent from last year was that even when he played well, he was a much better fourth quarter quarterback than he was in the first. Most of the preseason games he only played a couple series, (except the pitts game) here's to hoping he just needed more time to "get into the game." If I was a betting man, I'd expect trent to be sacked 5 times, throw three picks, and fail to get more than 10 points on the board. Sad Prediction: 41-7 Pats Go Bills PS.. why does it say "on probation" below my avatar? I dont remember doing anything probation worthy...
  15. why wouldnt he just come in to play a series?? Maybe he'd lead us down the field against a subpar lions team and gain some confidence. I'm also very surprised......
