  1. Love to recall when Franco Harris was closing in on one of his rushing records. Brown was vocal how much he despised Franco running out of bounds so much to avoid getting hit and threatened to return almost 2 decades later to stave off Harris’ attempt at the record. Al Davis offered him the opportunity. CLASSIC!
  2. Shocked the sports world by retiring immediately following his 9th season. The next year, he was in the limelight again as a member of The Dirty Dozen with Lee Marvin, running across roof tops, dropping grenades onto high ranking Nazis.🤣👍
  3. Agreed. Some people claim he was the greatest ever Lacrosse player. Sterling collegiate career in both sports at Syracuse.
  4. Considered the Greatest RB of all time
  5. I’m hopeful Groot makes the huge jump this season that predicated his Draft selection. We know the story. Great height, great 1st step, long arms and strong. But lost a full season to Covid so there was fear of a 1st Round flop ala Aron Maybin. He has shown great at times but nowhere near the expectations or consistency that comes with his pick. Obvi, Beane did the best he and scouts could do in that weird year regarding his mindset, background and comps. IF he can burst through this season (7-9 sacks) we could punch our ticket to the Conference Championship providing no setbacks for Von. It may not be ‘make or break’ but I think it is..🤔
  6. I can’t miss a point where there isn’t one.
  7. Even with the opener Week 1 at the Jets, I’d be happy with the team IRing Von for the 1st 6 weeks. It’s the ‘softest’ part of our schedule and he was brought here to help close it at seasons end. Not a lot of good his many sacks last year provided, when the Defense was a sieve by the playoffs..
  8. The NFL Hall Of FAME is on the phone. They’d like a word with you.. 🤦‍♂️
  9. Haven’t doubted it since the moment his ‘taking a year off’ was announced.
  10. Still seeing shirts with Josh’s logo everywhere.
  11. WGR just had a past Buffalo, current Cowboys reporter on, where Legends has the the contract at Jerrah’s World. He raves about it -specifically the Mac & Cheese. Strange recommendation, the popularity of M&C notwithstanding..
  12. Yeah, @Airseven is visiting from the Pats* boards..🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️
  13. You are indeed Crazy, bozo! Chandler caught damn near everything thrown in his vicinity and led the League in receptions one year. Lil Dummy can’t catch a cold. Know what you’re talking about before placing fingertips on the keyboard.
  14. Ditto. Good riddance, lil dummy
  15. It’s kids day. That will never be a night game.
  16. Thank you for the needed perspective. Nose pickers using statistics to justify their demeaning takes of an era they know nothing about is simply nauseating. By their 7 season, the AFL was so popular, they forced the NFL to merge and Namath was the catalyst 3 YEARS BEFORE SBIII! Will any of these upstart leagues today accomplish that? Highly unlikely. #Context.
  17. This isn’t like you. No One knows what the Cap will be next year as the League is still compensating for the Covid years. With Poyer, Hyde, Morse, Von Roten, Saffold, Taiwan Jones, Latavious Murray, Klein, Von & DaQuan Jones all eligible for their AARP cards after the season, their next destination is likely ‘the Home’.. Add to this, the youngins’ they’ve Drafted recently whom -while many here and crapped on-appear ready to make a big jump in their capabilities. Henry Jones, John Fina and Phil Hanson were scorned by ‘mafiaknowitalls’ early in their careers who developed into fine starters and contributed to continued team success, after replacing Leonard Smith, Wil Wolford & Dr. 1 Sack.. imo, our roster is solid and is in good hands with our GM, HC & Scouts.
  18. I hadn’t seen this before. A little background on DKin
  19. PFF discusses our Draft picks, grades the Draft as an A
  20. The kid has some skills!
  21. A wrist injury? A freakin WRIST injury?? What a woos! Just say it’s broken and cast that thing up. Worked in the 70’s! …
  22. No legit cred. We all loved him and he was the catalyst of the K-Gun. But he only made 1 Pro Bowl, fair or not. That doesn’t even get you cred in the Hall of Very Good. Like Kelly, he was a USFL orphan who joined the Bills the same day Jimbo did and they both retired on the same day.
