Not much going for us today. Jets won unbelievably, Fish whooped Pats* and Cincy appears to be back on track. Dammit!

8 weeks in, we’re 1 play away from 4-4, but a couple plays away from 6-1. Even with the staggering brutal injuries already tearing into the team, we’re still among the best teams in the League. Granted, you couldn’t tell by visiting THIS place, but we are. Cincy is battling with the overall talent Leaguewide as well and dealing with injuries. Our best chance for postseason play is to win every game we’re competitive in. We can! (Stay healthy, Josh!)

Yes, ya bastards, I’d been around a few years when this momentous event occurred in 1959. 1st real memory was ‘stealing’ Jack Kemp off San Diego’s waiver wire in the middle of the night in ‘63! Back then, a team had to put players returning from IR on waivers for a day. Saban knew they were close to getting their star QB back, so he had team personnel watching 24 hours hours a day for it. Ralph gladly paid the $100 waiver wire price to acquire him. Goebells, Schlitz and Pabst beer were sold out in WNY soon after! Gotta find a Pabst today.

The Long Snaps were perfect, the kickers were perfect, kick coverage was great and the return game was exciting. Just because the refs suck, doesn’t mean we did. It was a crazy take.
