  1. As the OP inferred with Whaley, the plethora of dearth before him shines a bright light on Brandon. IMO, he excels at Cap mgmnt finding effective -if unheralded FA’s. What he did after making the playoffs (17 year drought) his 1st season stands as his top achievement. He wasn’t here for the Draft -replacing Whaley immediately afterward- and needed a top QB holding only the 22nd pick in ‘18. Very quickly, he gutted the teams’ highest salaries/best players to garner trade options to move up for the most ballyhooed QB Draft class since ‘83. He’s stated many times if ‘you don’t have a top QB, you aren’t gonna be there long’. It took til Draft night to cement his best effort and we landed the true Savior of the franchise with Pick 7. Then followed it up with 1 last trade to land Edmunds at #16. ‘18 was his 1st and ONLY losing season and we’ve made the playoffs a routine expectation. He’ll be on our WOF ring in the new stadium eventually. Unlike many here, I give him a pass on Von Miller. He was still at the top of his game and coming off a SB victory as a very likely HOFer. A severe injury to his aging knee derailed that, but Beane can hardly be blamed for that. Had -godforbid- Allen suffered such a devastating injury, would that be Beane’s fault? He's kept the team very competitive since, despite drafting in the late 20’s every year and working through an unforeseen pandemic that had terrible repercussions in League allotted funding as virtually no income was gained with a season of empty stands. He's now morfed into an efficient bargain basement shopper with 4 straight Division titles and playoff wins in all but 1 season (OT Loss at Houston). To me, he’s on a par with Polian as Best Ever with more years to come.
  2. If you are old enough to have watched him play, you know he was a catalyst in springboarding the League to international acclaim. Playing with Wilt Chamberlin among other HOFers, his image dribbling the ball became the logo of the NBA. Thank you for the amazing memories, Jerry! https://sports.yahoo.com/nba-legend-jerry-west-dies-at-age-86-134646038.html?
  3. Prima-donna POS. The only good thing about him is he’s keeping the Jets in the cellar.
  4. Glass Watkins? Why would you ask? 🤔
  5. Thank you. The 1st time Cribbs was mentioned. Cookie Gilchrest was a 2X All Pro & 1000 yrd RB in a 12 game season. Then there’s Antwan Smith, Terry Miller, Jim Braxton, Wray Carlton, Shady and a slew of others way ahead of whathizname. Hell, Curtis Brown was better than Cook. He’s just the flavor of the month.. 🤦‍♂️
  6. I don’t need another documentary telling me we’ll never win a goddam thing. I’ve known it for 6 decades. We suck. I get it..
  7. Of all the Bills podcasters, Parrino is the worst , imo.
  8. Loved the video and enjoyed Shakir’s rise to prominence last season. He singularly demoted Davis to afterthought and ran him out of town. Expecting great things from him in year 3.
  9. ‘64 Bills. Day, Dunaway, McDole, Sestak. Jacobs. Stratton, Tracy, Byrd, Edgerson, Saimes, BeMiller, Shaw, Barber, Gilchrest/Joe, Warlick, Dubenion, Bass, Kemp/Lamonica, Maguire & Gogolak. Back to Back League Champions. Top it if you can. They didn’t allow a 100 yard rusher for nearly 2 years.
  10. Ron McDole, Bruce Smith & Phil Hanson were great from the git-go. Everyone else is mediocre to ok.
  11. Still haven’t heard the stadium louder than at this game. We were floundering and about to surrender a FG to up Denver’s earned lead to 24-7. So we hadn’t had any opportunity to cheer since the Broncos scored on the opening drive. Biscuit’s block return erupted the place and continued through the rest of the game! Stunning, thrilling victory!
  12. As a forloned Buffalo sports fan, I’ll now settle for EITHER 1 Stanley Cup or 1 Vince Lombardi Trophy before I’m one with the ground. PLEASE, SPORTS GODS! 🙏
  13. He was even much worse the following year late in the season against the Raiders. A couple missed XPs and a bunch of missed FGs from in close..
  14. Too early for an outdoor event in the Armpit of the Nation. jmo 🤷‍♂️
  15. Good question. Since the RB has been reduced dramatically recently, WRs have reaped the benefit. No, I don’t think they can because, like us, the reached a high level before the RB implosion and new $$ kicked in. jmo.
  16. There are no gold mines available
  17. A true classic. I -and all who were in attendance will never forget it! Then we followed this game up with a last minute, come from behind Home win vs the Jets, then SNF Home game vs the Raiders -where we came from behind again in the 4th quarter. We KNEW then this would be a special season -a Super Season. Enjoy!
  18. What’s our pressing need and who currently available fits the billet? I’m thinking pass rusher or Safety -if only for assurance. We ran out of these prior to the Chiefs playoff game. P.S. Thanks for the memories, Tre’!
  19. So he’s hiding out at your place? I knew it!
  20. just checking in to see if he’s still dead..
  21. Such a stupid move. Of course Haak sucked, but a fuggin wrestler with zero experience? Damn you, Sean! 🤬
  22. I suppose it’s an inevitability, given the sharp rise in international games, to say nothing of the greed of owners. Frankly, I’d rather the game be played there than Buffalo, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Jersey or any other very cold city with an open air venue. As long as it’s free to watch, idgaf.
