Good on you, OP. I haven’t garnered the nerve yet to rewatch, but it’s a loooong offseason. I don’t expect him back as I think McBeane & he differ widely on fair market value. Add to that, some team is so desperate for D-rush, they’ll way over pay. He’s already made very good money from his 1st Round selection, though imo, has only earned it the last season & a half. But I’ve been wrong before.

I’m a fan of the Gators, seeing most of their games. His recklessness comes from the defensive scheme Florida uses, which is to allow their inside LBs the freedom to do as they see fit, given down, distance, tendencies & pre-set looks. I’m ‘glad’ he was “injured” in the last preseason game because I seriously doubted he’d be available for our PS and it was evident he wasn’t ready to make the ‘final 53’. He’ll have to jump off the screen next PS and I believe he will. Call him a sleeper to make the ‘20 team.

Not given much of a chance? Dave, he’s started every game he was healthy enough to play. I certainly think he was over Drafted, but when healthy, he started throughout his 4 years. Otherwise, I think it was wise not to pay him the 5th year option. We’ve seen his best. We can do better.

According to some guy named Brandon, that’s not how the team is and will be constructed. Is Yannick great? Yes. Unfortunately for him, the Bills didn’t Draft him. Otherwise he’d likely get re-signed to a greater contract.

They’re as old as the Bills, also starting play in 1960. For comparison, we’ve played 19 Playoff games over the same timeframe. ? A +31 edge!! You can almost asterisk our 1st Playoff game, as it was necessitated by a dead even 7-6-1 tie with the Patriots (before they earned THEIR asterisks). Idk, just kind off floored me how brutal most of our history has been. Yes, they had the Purple People Eaters in the ‘70’s and were the 1st 0-4 SB team, but there’s a helluva lot more fine seasons between then & now! Fun Fact; Minnesota was set to join the AFL in 1960 as they’d also be turned down by the NFL numerous times. 11th hour negotiations extended NFL franchises to both Dallas and Minnesota in an effort to thwart the AFL right from the start. Lamar Hunt had already placed his Texans (later, the KC Chiefs) Team in Dallas. Back on point, 50 playoff games to just 19 in 60 freakin’ years?!? Yeeeeeesh?‍♂️

It’s pretty evident from where I stand that McBeane want Daboll to return. I’m fairly certain they have a short list in the event Brian departs of his own volition. If he stays, we’ll never know.
