It’s a tough challenge, but it has a lot to do with their enviable speed at skill positions. These are guys are open when they’re not and a couple extra seconds backpedaling allows Mahomes to see them separate and launch howitzers. It’s unconventional, to be sure, but it is what they’re doing. Josh has the same makeup as Mahomes but nowhere near the talent around him. I think it’s the clearest reason the Chiefs won all 3 playoff games AFTER surrendering double digit leads. That’s never been done and nothing short of phenomenal.

Respectfully disagree with the bolded. It means they DO suck and a deeper drop with an accurate canon arm can beat it. This IS Josh Allen and we should take a page from their playbook. It’s the fastest way to move Allen UP from Average QB status.

As Corta said, Jax was undeniably the Dark Horse for expansion in ‘94. But in an 11th hour sweetening of the pot, Wayne Weaver guaranteed the 1st 5 seasons home games would be sold out, meaning every visiting team would receive half the gate receipts for a packed house -even though they never sold out. It also assured Jacksonville area folks could see all the games on local tv, which was supposed to generate a following. The team made the AFC Championship Game in their 2nd season and STILL couldn’t create a fandom here in Gator Country. It’s never improved and when they suck, the nearly empty stadium was an eyesore for the NFL, even with 10,000 seats tarpped over. Hell, WE outnumbered their fans there in our playoff game!! 2 games going to London is the inevitable next step towards relocating the franchise. That the jags will move is a foregone conclusion in League circles, imo. They’re just not sure yet if London will survive in the League.

hmmm..? well, Chuck Knox & Lou Saban(twice!) broke my heart. Rauch destroyed the team and my dreams. Cribbs bailing for the USFL made me feel betrayed. OJ(post career) made me question my fandom. Crappy players come & go. They’re usually the fault of poor scouting and their bashing post-Bills comments don’t upset me. Having seen it all with the team, I’d have to conclude my least favorite Bill for embarrassing the city over a long period of time is.... wait for it... Ralph Wilson.

McBeane and their entire team of scouts & evaluators have set a very high bar. Perhaps too high to live up to new expectations. I’m truly surprised none of them were poached, so I anticipate another healthy haul of good to great players. But unlike last offseason, we’ve have many guys returning who’ve earned the right to start and play on a playoff team. Vosean’s ..um.. sketchy injury kept him here. I really felt he’d be snatched up before we could sign him back to PS. I followed him at UF and definitely expect him to make the 53 next season. So that leaves very few slots left. Yes, I know we all scream for certain players to be gone and I think some of them will. But I don’t foresee 9 new starters and I do see raiding of our scouting dept. So there’s one more offseason with lot-O-cash and spots to fill. The 2019 haul was epic in the annals of Team history. Anything close to that this year will set us up very nicely for a strong run to the top.
