  1. Your thread title is ambiguous. Taking your challenge literally, we can make a HOF roster from players who missed the playoffs at some time in their Bills career. DE: B. Smith, R. McDole DT: T. Sestak, T. Washington LB: C. Bennett, M. Stratton, H. Jacobs, D. Talley CB: R. James, G.’Butch’ Byrd S: G. Saimes, T. Greene C K. Hull G: B. Shaw, J. Delamiellure T: W. Wilford, H. Ballard TE: E. Warlick WR: E. Dubenion, A. Reed RB: OJ Simpson, T.Thomas QB: J. Kelly P: P. McQuire PK: P. Gogalak
  2. Congrats! Mrs. 81 & I celebrate the Big 4-0 next month. Well, she won’t actually know.. been institutionalized, drooling, and mumbling the past 25.. But it’s the thought that counts!
  3. They always do. At least 20.
  4. How unlikely would it be if only one did?
  5. Thank you for taking this moniker and running with it! Clever. Well done!?
  6. Well he’s a Star.. So, now do we have $81M+ to spend??
  7. Great interview. and yes, had he completed the lateral to Knox, all would be forgiven and we’re in Kansas City the next week.
  8. MSU is in a world of hurt. Colleges typically make coaching changes early/mid December, often before they play a Bowl game. It has to be that way in order to set the recruiting schedule and rate the HSers. Its pretty damn late for the NFL too. Nothing but scraps left to try to form a coaching staff.
  9. So, you Don’t want Josh Allen then? Your pegged stats are pigeonholed for a typical, drop back, pocket passing pro QB. None of this criteria applies to him. Simply put, you have to change the metric when assessing Allen. He’s an enigma and only through assessing him on his own merit can you begin to anticipate his future. He’s a monster of a human. As big as Rothlesberger and 4X more athletic. He’s quick, fast, strong and tough. Most importantly, he’s smart and is drenched with the “It factor”. The ball literally whistles leaving his hand, allowing for jaw-dropping completions and throws no other QB even considers. 350 yards rushing? Are you anticipating he’ll miss half the season? Fumbles are a concern, but I really don’t see that improving much as the majority of them are because of his uncanny elusiveness on plays almost no one can consider, let alone pull off. For as raw as still is, he’s already accomplished 8 comeback wins and 10 game winning drives in just 28 starts. This on a team that hasn’t experienced a 10 win season since he began to walk. As @Alphadawg7 stated, your desired affect are now his baseline, though 60%+ completion percentile is the highest I suspect he’ll ever reach. Rhythm passing scenarios simply aren’t him. Although he’s shown he’s capable, he’s capable of so much more than this. I’m confident McBeane realize this and will add pieces designed to enhance Josh’s unique skill set. He doesn’t require the ‘norm’ passing criteria to be considered for MVP.
  10. It’s all a ruse. Playing the sympathy card.
  11. Here’s a pic of every dog I’ve ever owned. Not a fan
  12. I enjoyed Seattle @ DC. Wifey was beside herself having “finally finished with football!”. So future games may need to be viewed in the music room.. Proehl looked good!
  13. GTFOH! ? or, I could do us a favor..

  15. No, to either of them (QB nor #13). No way we bring in a high pick at QB with the one they mortgaged the old team and multiple high picks for, who’s starting for just his 2nd season and a REASON they nearly made the 2nd round of the playoffs. Too valuable of a pick to build the team around him for.
  16. Mc/Beane has won me over. We’re close because of their shrewdness. If they think he’s the piece, he’ll be wearing Scarlet, Royal & White.
  17. It’s a tough challenge, but it has a lot to do with their enviable speed at skill positions. These are guys are open when they’re not and a couple extra seconds backpedaling allows Mahomes to see them separate and launch howitzers. It’s unconventional, to be sure, but it is what they’re doing. Josh has the same makeup as Mahomes but nowhere near the talent around him. I think it’s the clearest reason the Chiefs won all 3 playoff games AFTER surrendering double digit leads. That’s never been done and nothing short of phenomenal.
