Need an alternative to AT&T for the Sunday ticket
Chandler#81 replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There’ve been innuendos on NFLRadio that the new CBA will open up many different and new venues to watch games which may be offered as early as next season. You might want to hold off dumping AT&T/DTV if you otherwise like the service. I dumped DTV last year after having since ‘93 and went to steaming the games. -
If Kroft doesn’t get injured, he’s starting Day 1. I think it likely Smith is on the ‘20 roster as well, given how good a blocker he is. Check out every short yardage TD we scored. You’ll see him. I’m not criticizing McBeane for how it played out.

New Playoff Structure
Chandler#81 replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, but with this new playoff format and the addition of 1more team per conference, it’s unlikely we’ll ever have to endure another 17 year drought. That’s a good thing, right?? -
Smith is a fine blocking TE. One of the best, yellow hankies notwithstanding. Signing Kroft was a quick fix just after releasing Charles Clay. The TE cupboard was bare and he was available before FA. Certainly with hindsight the choices don’t look promising but no, negative criticism isn’t deserved. They just did better than hoped for in the Draft.

Was unsuccessful finding a person who can do it via a bunch of fb pages I subscribe to, so I’m now gonna look into Craigslist. i want to get it fixed so the only I’ve decided on is I don’t want to do it..

?I was being facetious. I get ribbed a lot around here for knowing the ‘60’s Bills well. -and yes, it was a thrill watching the Hoover Dam construction.?

Amid declining participation and sexual abuse charges. Sad, really. Back in the 19th century-when I was in Scouting, it was fun and I learned a lot. Seemed everyone I knew (boys & Girls) we’re in scouting. Participation has been in steep decline for decades and the many egregious sexual abuse cases are its death knell. https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2020/02/18/boy-scouts-bankruptcy/

This. Me either. But with team turnover at the highest it’s ever been, those Carolina days on McBeane are fast fading in the rear view mirror.

I saw this video too, Hap. Hair dryer/heat gun seems to make it an easier task. Frame is fine. It’s in a relatively strong wrap case that doubles as a stand. It just landed bad -right on the corner edge. Dammit!??

Thanks all! Gonna 1st See if someone does this as a side gig. No, I’m not making the girl buy a new one. So either someone who’s experienced at it or try the repair myself. A lot more involved than just popping the old one out and sticking the new one in. It’s 3 years old. And of course, I let the warranty run out..?♂️

Thanks, Plez, but the replacement glass is around $40. It’s the ‘How To’ that concerns me.

A shift relief co-worker picked up my iPad this morning, not realizing it was plugged in and it was snapped from her hands as she moved it and dumped on the tile floor. You guessed it. Bottom left corner looks like a windshield after a wreck. I’m surprised a.) the glass is replaceable for under $30 and b.) there’s a How To video to guide the replacement. I’m notoriously thick thumbed when working with small electrics. Has anyone done this? I’d be surprised if it’s as easy as they make it seem. How much would a ‘phone place’ charge to do it? Thanks in advance.

Greg Olsen visiting Bills, Redskins, Seahawks

Yeah, but how would this be a good thing? Knox, whether de facto or not, earned the starting position and played well, overall. Sure, he missed some assignments and had a few costly drops, but what receiver didn’t. Equally, he produced jaw-dropping plays the likes of which we’ve rarely seen from the position. Having he and Sweeney riding the pine isn’t a good idea, imo. -
2020 Strength of Schedule Rankings
Chandler#81 replied to dayman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes. We need to focus on winning the Division, which is finally more attainable than at any time in the past 16 years. A lesser W/L record is conceivable, but we only have to have a better record than NE*, NYJ & MIA. -
Great game to attend. I’m trying hard to keep my Sabres Doomshield tightly closed, but there’s no denying the team has better overall talent than their record suggests. They’re just still too thin and injuries cant be replaced well enough. They’ve just about Lost their way out of the playoffs again and it’s only the 2nd week of February. It will take another fantastic month like Nov. ‘18 to get back in it. Every loss now is critical.

What’s new that has you thinking this? I don’t see the overall merit in signing him. Of course he’s been steady good throughout his career and has the McBeane connection, but our TE is pretty full and expectations are high for last years’ 2 Draft picks. Is he truly an upgrade to Lee Smiith’s role here?
