  1. If the new bargaining agreement passes quickly, will teams be allotted a higher Cap for this season? I realize the 17 game season & extra playoff spots won’t start until ‘21, but I don’t see why new ca$h can’t be doled out.
  2. Just Josh improving his deep throws and pass catchers actually catching passes will improve the Offense tremendously. Add in new playmakers and it’ll be a real treat to watch. If Allen completed even a third of his deep attempts, we’re Division Champs on merit and I’m talking Knox, Duke, McKettick, Roberts, Foster, Kroft & DiMarco.
  3. Good synopsis @whorlnut. Aside from reiterating that everyone should give a listen, Palmer followed up Josh’s love of Buffalo saying “he wants to win the Super Bowl next year”.
  4. Wow! Has This gone off the rails!
  5. Facts? No. Conjecture. From a hater at that. Nothing the OP said was wrong nor worth a lame critique. ? um.. no. Nothing new here at all. Even haters realize astounding talent, skills and improved play from year 1 to 2. But it’s the lull period in the offseason, so... I don’t recommend making a habit of repeating threads though.
  6. Ok, Ok. Time Out on the playground. Both of you go stand in the corner for 20 minutes. Keep your nose touching the wall.
  7. You edited this post and still have a 57 word sentence? Punctuation is your friend, my friend.
  8. Dey bof dunaway wit dar wives.
  9. Where’ve you been? ? We’re already on our full 4th mock.
  10. Agree eball, but this isn’t ‘91. At that time, we’d already played in an AFC Championship Game @ Cincy, won a Home Playoff game vs Houston and barely lost a shootout in Cleveland. We had a 3 year, 11th Round guy just getting his chance at RT (Ballard) and a roster full of superstars no one can afford today. Times have definitely changed. Now, every year, 7 or 8 new/different teams make the playoffs. We’re good. But rosters are much thinner today (quality-wise) and every team can beat anybody on any given week. Returning to the playoffs this season isn’t a given. Even for KC or the 49ers. Having crapped on your post (sorry), I agree we have key pieces and a shrewd, modern FO which should keep us in the mix for a few years. Heres hoping?
  11. Knox turned the franchise around quickly, as he did in LA & Seattle. In 3 seasons, we went from laughing stock to Division Champs. Bermuda Triangle, Jerry Butler, Frank Lewis, Joe Cribbs, Phil Vilapiano, Isiah Robertson, Conrad Doebler, solid kicking game. Huge turnaround! #Talkin’Proud
  12. Well, this, and no US QB is gonna come in here and take Josh’s job. #AliensCanPlay!
  13. Jim Dunaway?? I don’t think he’s up there?
  14. May I suggest for your Winter reading, this coffee table staple?
  15. You had me at Bobby Chandler#81. Seriously, all are worthy. It’s because of Ralph’s pettiness that Knox and Trader Lou aren’t up there. Pegs can right an old wrong. Not sure, but I think Biscuit’s questionable dalliances may contribute to the delay. He was certainly an important cog and great field legacy! Don’t stay away so long!
  16. Oiler offense didn’t measure up against Fouts’ Chargers and they never played in Super Bowl either, though they did make a couple AFC Championship games. Broadway Joe Montana???‍♂️
  17. Great stories! Thanks folks. Mine doesn’t measure up, but I’m happy I was able to make it happen. Some of you know my semi-retirement gig is Security at The Players Championship, Ponte Vedra, FL. My charming, gregarious character (No, Really! I get PAID for that gig!) has endeared me to the muckity mucks who run the show -notably, the Top Dawg who owns an ocean front mansion and rides his golf cart to work every day. He said the 5 minutes we spend chatting at 6am are his favorite part of the day! So, I put it to him that my best bud is an avid golfer, club memberships for decades and shoots near Par every time out, while being 59 y/o. I asked him what the price for 2 to play the main course (Island 17th!) was and he quickly said “let’s get past the tournament, then hit me up! I’ll set him up with one of our 2somes for a Round! WOOHOO! So, Mrs.81 & I were invited to my buds house for steaks on the grill last Saturday night and as I’m preambling this story, he catches on quick ‘I like where I think this is going!’. Should be a fantastic time! I suck at golf so I’ll just meet him at the clubhouse afterward. Tiger tearing up TPC pales in comparison to how I’d ‘tear it up’.. Fyi, things have shifted into high gear here with the tournament just a couple weeks away. 18 wheelers bringing in tv cameras/stages/Corp sponsor booths, staff increases, workshops on rules etc., gardening contractors every day as the course has been shut down now for prep. I love my job!
  18. If this happens, I’m on the phone with Chicago; “whachoo want for Khalil Mack?”
  19. Thank you Yolo! I obviously missed the memo on reducing interviews from 60 to 45. That sucks! This is the place that brings the best players to show their wares. Where’s the intelligence in significantly reducing the opportunities to interview prospects?? WTH?!? PROCESS. We must have PROCESS, Dammit!
  20. ‘LT has the QBs Back’ goes the saying. Our QB just happens to have a very strong back, but I want to keep it that way. DD loves him some Josh. He won’t let him get hurt -even if it means a ‘LOOK OUT!’ block.. Give the Schnowman his schmoney to keep stirring the Mac & cheese.
  21. Favorite memory?? This.
