Would you sign a Vet QB or draft a QB vs Barkley?
Chandler#81 replied to Marshallp29's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Understood. He shocked the Jets because no one knew what to expect. By the end of that game, it was evident he has a noodle arm that solely relies on timing. If the unthinkable happens and we lose Allen for weeks, I seriously doubt we’ll win 1 game. Mentor schmentor. Get a real QB in here! -

Hell yes! I’d have more faith in a Street FA than Barkley coming in cold off the bench. The book is out in Barkley. Make him change the intended receiver and he’s toast. -

Nothing at all, JA. It’s just a quick glimpse of our QB working on correcting some deficiencies. Word of caution though; be leery of C.Biscuit trying to recruit you. He’s the epitome of the darker angel whispering in your left ear, marching to the devils drum. If he can’t Grinch optimistic posts, he’ll try to steal your Christmas. It’s simply how he rolls..?♂️ -

Not implying anyone need be geeky like me, but if you click the image and go to the twitter link, it repeats and repeats, allowing you/me to focus on all aspects of this throw from footwork/drop back to looking off 1st to shoulder position and intent to ‘drop the pin’. Very encouraging. ‘Nother point Palmer makes is how QBs often default back to their original motions after taking a couple smacks in the season. That’s why muscle memory is so damn important! Also, his left toes are aimed exactly where the throw ends. -

His left shoulder is noticeably lower than his typical ‘lean back and launch a rocket’ approach. Appears he’s taking Jordan Palmers advice to heart!- 90 replies

Looks like he’s getting dialed in just in time for Stefon.

I mentioned it in another thread that I saw his entire career with the Gators. Tends to get caught up a lot on short yardage plays. Not terrible-as in old Frank Gore, but not that kind of back. He’d be a great ‘Kenny Davis’ compliment to Devins’ Thurman! Hope he’s available when we pick in the 3rd -if not Round 2.

This from a guy who was humiliated by our ‘other’ wideout in front of a national audience. Pay him more, Bill!

No. Denver was the best AFC team that year, even if it took a dramatic 4th quarter TD to beat Cleveland. Then they got blown out by San Fran in the SB. -
While I agree with his original comment, Rex is a ? turd. I’m guessing he would be fired if no apology. One could say that’s his father in him, but Buddy wasn’t acceptable either.
