  1. Ok, fair enough. My Son and SonInLaw both power lift. A couple regional competitions -but mostly cuz they choose to look like Hercules. Son is a pro wrestler, SiL a fireman/EMT. I was just mocking all the exclamation points in the thread title about the ‘FANTASTIC RETURN TO LIVE SPORTS! WE’RE SAAAAVED!!’ The audience for this ‘sport’ is pretty limited as most people don’t aspire to look like or do this. A 9 Ball tournament would hold a greater audience as most everybody can play and understands the concepts. s’all I’m sayin’..
  2. Yeah? Kirk Cousins said that? Well I say the NFL playing without Kirk Cousins would be refreshing.
  3. Very loose adaptation of the word Sport. This is less of a sport than soccer and far more boring. At least ‘kick ball’ has some running and clever footwork.. Guess what I won’t watch, regardless of the novelty. Now, see me in a month and I may change my tune..
  4. THAT might have been worth watching. it IS a whole lot of nothing -as expected. Hey! ? Jimmy Spags is upstanding gentleman! Sure, he gets a little hot under the collar with some folks, who doesn’t? Anyway, he’s done some time, paid his dues to society and has every reason to be treated like everyone else! as a PSA, I’m killing this. The faster it dies, the faster we forget about it.
  5. [LAMP] I had season tix from ‘87 thru ‘95, when I moved to Florida. One could say I saw it all and certainly the Home playoff games through that period leave an indelible mark. But, if I’m honest with my self, that ‘68 home game vs. the eventual SB Champs NYJets was my biggest thrill. I grew up a huge Namath fan with the lone exception of playing the Bills. He struck such a daunting presence to AFL fans across the nation. That’s saying something, given the QBs in the League at the time. We lost 4 QBs that season and were already down to rookie Dan Darragh in this September game and this would be our only win of the season -which ‘paid off’ with OJ as the consolation. We had no business winning this game. yet.. 902D579E-69BB-4C92-8D5B-D7B7EC64BD95.mov
  6. In America. Turn left at Greenland.
  7. This whole ‘thing’ is stupid and I think I’m being derelict in my task for allowing this rubbish to continue.. I haven’t noticed a particular time tonight when the sports world be set ablaze by this earth-shaking development. If anyone knows, please share so I can slam the top on the garbage can (old school) when nothing comes of this.
  8. Warms my heart to hear players are excited to be a part of ‘a great organization’! Of course I have PTSD from 2 decades of combat in the trenches following the team. But they’re finally offering us counseling and attitude adjustments. It’s like a miracle drug!
  9. Well they certainly gutted them.

  12. My uncle caught a Jan Stenerud XP and gave it to me. The Duke! Yep. There was a banner brought on to the field by the Jill’s congratulating the Jets -and the AFL for being World Champs. They weren’t very nice guests though as they clubbed us... Rockpile pics
  13. Dad & Uncle introduced me to flask chugs after TDs. I was a cheering madman during the snow games!
  14. with apologies to @Cotton Fitzsimmons. Just a wee lad, I attended a number of games through the years, courtesy of my Dad, Uncle and chartered buses from the local fire hall. Some of my best memories are ‘66 win vs. inaugural Dolphins and the ‘68 & ‘69 games vs. Joe Willie & the Jets. One, our only victory in NY’s Super Bowl year and the following was #32 (newly given) OJ’s debut, a 33-19 loss. Also white out snow games vs. Cinci & Denver. Caught a few Bison games there as well. Share some tales, duffers. https://www.stadiumsofprofootball.com/stadiums/war-memorial-stadium/

  16. For Thine hath deemed it so. Amen. ‘scuse me, funny boy, but this is the area where the virus began and where countless teams of WHO personnel descended upon very early on as the Planets’ best authorities on disease and measures required. As a global team, they have little national ties and have access to the free press of the world to counter any misinformation which may originate there. <Pssst! Your racist witlessness is showing> Cover up. Thank you for your qualitative initial post and Welcome Aboard! Now, for your initial examination, please answer the following questions so that our staff of highly trained professionals may discern competency. 1.) Kemp or Lamonica? 2.) Sestak or B. Smith? 3.) Saban or Levy? 4.) Thurman or OJ? 5.) Original colors? 6.) Ralph or the Pegs? 7.) Standing or Charging Buffalo? and finally, 8.) Ranch or Bleu Cheese?
  17. Too late. They won a SB with Baltimore’s team. Unitas/Morrall > Manning.
  18. Well, somebody isn’t bothering to stay current. China has already opened up Baseball, Japan Baseball is in Spring Training and South Korea is about to begin play.
  19. ?So, you wake up like this too, eh?
  20. That should do it!
