  1. Chad Pennington? Seriously? The time frame between Josh & Chad is longer than Chad and Johnny U -and he’s been dead for 2 decades. So much about assessing human throwing mechanics have improved that your reference equates to caveman/modern man. Amateur? Sure, but you missed a very insightful article from all the experts whose perspective were on display here. Thank you, once again @YoloinOhio. Whenever I see a ‘Yolo Stamp of Approval’ on an article, I take the time to read it and am always glad I did. I'm gonna put you in for raise with the Boss. It’ll be in the mail right after the mods get theirs!?
  2. My inbox is filling up with reports on this topic for all the political views that have little to nothing to do with the topic -on numerous posts. Rather than swing the mighty sword, the topic dies. Please think twice before posting personal political comments -and REFRAIN.
  3. Yes you are!? I was 15. Saw the 1st ever game there vs. Washington (Eff Herb Mulkey!) & 1st regular season game Wk#3 vs. Jets, 9-7 win -Al Woodall replacing injured Namath & Fergy’s 1st ever start. It’ll ALWAYS be “Rich Stadium, Orchard Park, New York!” -said in my best Howard Cosell voice.
  4. I love it! You dive headfirst into a pool of horse manure, then come up swimming the Butterfly! AWESOME!
  5. Judging by his early entries today, YES!
  6. You share the doomsday theory many others do. There certainly could be truth in your assessment (it’s been 90 some odd years since the last one). Because the NFL is currently going full steam ahead for a full 2000 campaign, that’s the only truth we know today. Until/unless something changes, onward we go with the best laid plans & precautions.
  7. eh, not especially. Not with so much uncertainty about the season. A forced shortened season or rash of infections will derail most teams expectations. I get the the Browns ‘19 season comparison, but they were paper thin, power struggle in moment and many new faces last year. Those aren’t our ‘00 issues. But nothing can really be anticipated.
  8. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades..
  9. Pardon my French, but to Hell with your opinion. Simply put, Players ARE going to get the virus. Most likely some of us too. They’re young & in great physical condition while being afforded the very best medical capabilities. The vast majority of people who’ve contracted the disease are not only fine within a month, they’re then immune. ”PLAY BALL!”!
  10. How would you feel about trolling another team? Now ask Us this question.
  11. 1st of all, moron, he said “rep”, not rap. Subtle pronunciation difference but large difference in meaning. Always liked the Vikings. Have since their beginning in ‘60. (Some here may not know they were all set to become an AFL franchise in ‘59 as the NFL turned down their request. When the Foolish Club came calling, they jumped at the chance -until the NFL stepped in, “changed their mind” and awarded Minneapolis a franchise.) But for the foreseeable future, they’re crap to me now. and WTMFF does he mean “Barr let him hurdle him!”???
  12. Cops Lives Matter.
  13. Good question. Fergy was replaced by Vince Ferragamo (Quit Laughing!?) All Vincent did was lead his previous team from the trash heap to a home Super Bowl and nearly held off the Team of the Decade to win! So, was Fergy a “franchise QB”??
  14. ya Gotdam Rabble Rouser!!
  15. If I had any suspicion you are the end all authority on these matters, I might not laugh at this take. But I don’t. ???
  16. Whoa Easy, Cowboy. Easy! I didn’t assume anything about anyone -well, maybe you..now. My point of reference would be old teams like the Raiders and any team Deon Sanders played with. But Every team practices lateral drills. Last ditch kick return, hook & lateral catches, etc. Knox (thanks for the correction) wasn’t anticipating it. But I’m sure he will from now on. That’s all.
  17. -and there’s an Army here who subscribe to that notion. They’re just bait-clickin’ the usual suspects. This passes for sports journalism these days..?
  18. With way more than 100 posts per month, it’s clearly evident you’re on a quest to capture the All-time Most Noob Posts in the 1st Year Award ?. Unfortunately for the rest of us, it’s always at the cost of quality content. It had its time in our formative years as we got our legs under us, but the quest has gone the way of Confederate General statues. Here’s a tip, Less is More.
  19. Ha!? Then you’re gonna HATE the next dozen years or so. FAR from “totally stupid”, League history has tons of highlights where laterals have turned into TDs and 3X that where the ball was advanced further upfield. Sure, it can backfire. Somebody is going to get the ball. There’s no stats to verify/discount your perspective but per the eye test, teams notorious for being willing to lateral the ball to teammates are predisposed to expect it. Edit, had it worked, the 2X3 poster would be hanging on your living room wall
  20. I’m half hoping/half expecting that Devin and EVERY Buffalo Bill have this play indelibly etched in their collective mind that Allen IS ‘that guy’ who wants the ball with the game on the line -as Brandon Beane exclaims. 8 game winning drives in less than 2 seasons reinforces this as the rule vs the exception. Lose focus at your peril when on the field with Josh and the game is on the line.
  21. I realize this play has become the mantra for the anti-Josh gang, but consider for a moment that Singletary was mentally sharper in the half second he was unexpectedly given a glorious opportunity to advance the ball in an overtime playoff game, already in enemy territory. He doesn’t possess blazing speed, but there was NO ONE in front of him. He either scores or Hauschka comes on for an easy 3. Either way, if the rookie secures Allen’s intentional lateral, we’re playing in KC the following week.
  22. You should have stopped here.
