No football til mid October??? -Carucci

As is your right. The NFL -with the exception of being reactive to player discipline- typically has their act together. This information isn't being conjured up by sports writers. If it was leaked by the League, it was intended to be. NFLRadio is discussing this very time frame as I type. Specifically, the games CAN’T start later than mid-October and still have a full schedule, thus the news release. The schedule gets released in a week or so in order for teams to plan travel/lodging stadium reqmts. Pushed back any further and Strike-shortened seasons schedules go into effect, based on who’s playing where on that pre-scheduled date. Earlier games get cancelled as needed at that time. Also saying the SB will be no later than Feb 28th. So while much is still up in the air, deadlines have been set. -

This may just be the spark for the Downtown Dome crowd. Pegs spent million$ on a study that’s likely gonna get flushed down the toilet after a full season of snow games.. juss sayin’ P.S. I’m on the Dome Team. -

Bro, if it’s gotta be, it’s gotta be. Much as I hate the current unknown, I’m good with a late February SB and a full season. But I’ll TAKE anything! -

This is the 1st I’ve heard anything relatively official, but it isn’t a sport you can remove fans from. At least I never want to envision a game without fans..? yeah, of course we can wait a couple more months, but I DON’T WANT TO!? -
HB, Joey!?

Oh, Hell No!

You nailed it! Yes, we’re all gullible school aged kids with starry eyes?. We’ve easily been duped that 2 close road playoff losses in 3 seasons by an ever improving team who just added the League leader in deep pass receptions and 3 straight All Pro seasons is a piece that puts us over the top. Thank GOD you’re here to slap us back into reality! Where would we be without you?? [Sarcasm effin’ Off!]

Sorry, but contrary to popular belief, we do have standards. Yav stopping by, dropping trou, relieving himself and departing isn’t acceptable. Razzing an idiot thread is, however, so it makes it harder to enforce. alas..

Gotta admit, I ‘read’ it wrong too, but Fluker wasn’t it..? Anyway, to the OP, PASS. -

with 30 -count ‘em, THIRTY WRs chosen in this Draft, nearly every team has a better WR grouping from last season. Contrast this with the meteoric rise in quality DB capabilities and the view evens out a little. Is there even a team left sporting the likes of Deonte Thompson, Zay Jones, Kelvin Benjamin, Kaelin Clay, Andre Holmes & Logan Thomas, as we did in ‘17. ? While most allude to this now all coming down to Allen, few acknowledge -let alone NONE of his haters- just how adept his field vision has already developed. Our new Top 3 are nothing if not separators and as the ever-repeating draft tv graphic stated, he faced the 3rd most rush pressure of all QBs. That he still completed 58% of his passes -most of which weren’t short- speaks to this. I think we’re all a little guilty of over hyping this rarified air we’re breathing, for being fans of a competitive team. But, we haven’t ‘arrived’. Yet..

This IS an issue..

BLAH BLAH BLAH So, following another last second playoff loss, we can expect another nuclear meltdown?? Here’s a BIG LAMP!

well, they’ll have to come up with more ‘creative medical diagnosis’ again, following the final preseason game.. Never ceases to amaze me how promising, late Round rookies get “injured” significantly enough following the last preseason game that they’re ‘lost for the year’, yet never any update on their ‘rehab’ nor League investigations...?
