Honestly, his 1st start @ Vikings. Leaping LBs, hitting Croom wide open and blowing past everyone, diving for the flag.

Likely so. I get the humor and the team seems way too committed to look past anyone. But honestly, with them shredded by Covid, not able to bring in other players in time to suit up and tryin to piece together a gameplan with practice squad players, it’s hard to taKe this Seriously.. imo

I’d feel better if our backup wasn’t Matt Barkley. A 2 game, 1st Place record is definitely rarified air! I recall Mark Kelso being interviewed about a 4-0 record. He said ‘you break up the season in quarters. You want to be 3-1 each quarter because that translates to 12-4 and a likely Division title. But mostly because it shows consistency vs 1-3 one quarter, 4-0 the next.’ We went to the Super Bowl that season..

Milano’s injury history presents a challenge to the McBeane mantra of Drafting and re-signing their own. When on the field, Matt is a key cog. But he’s off the field too much at this stage of his career, with a 2nd contract looming. I see the team offer being generous but not ridiculous, which will encourage Milano to see what other offers he may receive. Then, I think we balk..

Knox also had a great game blocking. He’s trying hard to keep his job.
