  1. Click on Watch on YouTube. Knox, Cribbs, Doebler, Butler, Freddy, Vilipiano, etc.
  2. Upgrade your home bar. Invite your friends and take their keys.😉👍
  3. Yep. Len Dawson started for KC -which I was glad to see as I admired him so much. Juice went over 1000 yrds in the 7th game and visions of 2 Grand danced in our heads!
  4. That was fun! Thanks. Obviously much more to chose from with Kelly, but in ‘88, he’d already played 5 years as a pro (Hou/Buf). Josh is that good now, after 3 seasons.
  5. You’re absolutely right! Rainy game. We had comp tix at the 50 yard line, right under the MNF crew. Friends in St. Louis saw me as the sideline camera rode up and I jumped up waving, wearing a Niagara Mowhawk raincoat. THERE’S an old reference.. Its age. Memory starts going..🤦‍♂️
  6. There I was, tippin’ a mug-o-suds at Tuns Tavern with a couple of concerned mates who we’re looking for some ‘sort of’ government group to aid in protecting ships in the harbor from scavengers.. ‘round about the 6th pitcher, I yelled out “Hey! WE Can do it ourselves!” USMC 🇺🇸
  7. Sadly, I agree..😢 Happy 245th Birthday, Everyone! Gug, you don’t look a day over 100!😉👍
  8. First game ‘after’ OJ ran for 201 yds and 2003 for the ‘73 season. I was at this game with my Dad, sitting in the Endzone seats Rashad caught both TDs in! (Sorry for the crappy video. Best version I could find)
  9. Bought my Son Owens#81. I learned my lesson that season..🤦‍♂️
  10. You ARE pious, ya snob! jk. Son got a dui on his 40th Bday a year ago. To date, Drink, Don’t Drive.
  11. Oh Yeah! You’re gonna do just FINE here! I can tell! I have a ‘nose for this!’ *tick**tick**tick*
  12. With the exception of gifts, I don’t own current player jerseys. Too fleeting and I’d never wear it again if he leaves. I use the Pro Shop, eBay, foreign markets for my jerseys (Kelly SBXXV, McAdoo, Perrault, B.Smith, OJ, Thomas SBXXV & Chandler#81) As for gifts, I have Fitz, Watkins, Bledsoe & Losman...🤦‍♂️ See my point?? -although, an Allen #17 is tempting.. I’ll wait til he signs an extension..
  13. -and I’d like you to dance the Merengue wearing a big red clown nose. 🤪 Life is full of disappointment.
  14. We did. I locked it. 😎
  15. He also had a move (knack?) of dragging a leg when a would be tackler was near, which allowed him to evade getting arms around his legs. I don’t see that maneuver much at all these days. You’re welcome, Aug. He had a couple 200 yd games against the Pats*. The 250 mark was the ‘73 Opener at Schaffer Stadium. Also had 213 vs them* later that season in a snow game at home.
  16. Because he’s significantly weaker vs the run than Mongo at Center by the eye test. Been so since ‘19. Would you prefer a bio on all of them?
  17. CTFD, Son!🤦‍♂️ This. Plus, frankly, the Bills don’t gaf about the running game. We have ‘The Enigma’ at QB who will get every tough yard needed during a game. Ask Pete Carroll, Mike Tomlin, Nick Fangio or that has-been in Miami, Flores how concerned they are. We’re rewriting the rules, OP. Use ‘the Bull’ to run when he feels like it. Light up the skies otherwise.
  18. No props for Nick Sebek? Legendary gym teacher at NTHS who played 2 years at QB for the Redskins in the late 40’s. RIP Nick.
  19. 😳 Where did I mention Moss? Anyway, create LOS opportunities to spring the RBs . Leave the LBs & DBs to the RBs to beat.
  20. Yolo, PLEASE stop posting in this thread. The level of Dumbness surrounding Ertz here is mind-numbing. Unless reports are filed on these threads, I avoid them like the Pandemic -UNLESS You make a post here. You’re reputation precedes your posts. 🤷‍♂️
  21. Please post more, “old stuff”! 😉
  22. I don’t see it that way at all. Why did we have so many negative running plays? Because we often didn’t have our best OL on the field for particular runs. Because our opponents know who is better at run vs pass and vise-versa, we have to be more creative in our play calling so as not to telegraph what the play is, given which OL are on the field. Our RBs are really very elusive -if we can get them through the LOS. To me, that’s where the focus needs to be this year. Morse may be weaker in run blocking than Mongo at Center, but creating ways for Mitch to aid a run play enough to give the RB a running start will result in better play, imo.
