Gabriel Davis with Week 10’s Toe Drag Swag!
Chandler#81 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Um… he did. He secured possession with his left foot down, then tapped his right foot down and tried to re-tap his left foot again. I don’t think he did but it was already in the field of play prior, when he secured the ball. -
I mean no disrespect to our Lord & Savior @YoloinOhio . I was up all night, saw and read all the post game comments/videos/interviews, put the Jet game behind me and turned my attention to Indy. Still wish I could do the same with the Jag game..🤦♂️ Many teams have stumbled so far this season. But the November Wind is a Pirate. This is separation time. I think this game makes and breaks the season for either team by its outcome. I just can’t root for NE*. EVER!

He did injure/reinjure his ankle, but no word yet on the severity.

11/14/21 Postgame Thread: Bills at Jets

Question: Why is this a Rushing Touchdown? It’s a shuffle pass that goes FORWARD. When Mahomies does it, it’s a Pass. juss sayin’ -

Struggling more than expected, they’re still in the hunt. They gave us all we could handle in the WC game and only the QB has changed. Frank Reich would love for Indy to take us down a notch and ‘frankly’ they need to, just to stay alive in the playoff race. Big game in the Conference so it’s a big win or big loss, depending on the outcome. We’ve moved up to 2nd place but they’re just a win behind us. Both teams won a Conference game Sunday, setting this game up as Must See.

Thoughts? Thoughts???😳

Yes, it’s just you. Though I agree it was better when he stuck around engaging ‘bums’. Lighten up.

Urban Meyer is on record saying he implemented 2 deep BECAUSE it was effective vs. Allen/Bills. But please, don’t let facts get in your way. -
Greg Cosell on the Bills Offense

Yep, I read nothing there I didn’t already know. What I don’t know, is what we can do about it the remainder of the season. -

I’m a vampire. It’s in my BLOOD! -
Ok, I owe everyone an apology. Re-reading last weeks Pregame Thread, it .um.. didn’t age well. I’ve followed the Bills religiously since we stole Jackie Kemp from SD in 1963. Yes, I’ve witnessed back to back League championships. But I’ve seen too much misery since! Johnny Robinson’s 80 yard INT return, Fouts to Smith, Bruce’s Phantom Facemask at Cincy, Wide Right, Redskin scalping, Dallas DoomsDAYS, Music City Debacle, The Rocky Houston Horror Show and the Massacre at little Big Chief. But I’ve never seen what I witnessed last Sunday! The atrocious London Jagoffs beating us on foreign soil? Preposterous. Yes, Balt, Tenn, the LA teams, the ‘Bay’ teams, Dal, KC, LV & NO have also experienced shocking upset losses and we’re barley at the halfway mark of the season. I now have no clue how this season will unfold. Gone seemingly forever is the rare comfort level of the contentment that comes with expecting the Bills to win. Which brings us to the Nyets. They suck. Right? They ALWAYS suck. Right?? From ownership to this seasons’ QB hopeful, they just simply suck. Right??? Yes. But….. We will face a ‘2 Deep’ look from here out until we prove we can beat it. We simply CAN’T run the ball, sans Allen. Injuries are piling up on an already suspect O-Line. The only consistent pluses have been Bass, Knox & Defense -so far.. Coincidentally, all the fleeting, rarified air of being the national media Darlings has disappeared. Are we prepared for another week of national bloodletting? “Pretender Status”? A full week of @Jimmy Spagnola punching our teeth out? I’m not. I’m taking a hiatus. Go BILLS! Mafia in the Apple

Losing 9-6 to a team that hasn’t won in the U.S. in over 2 years isn’t overreacting. We have serious issues.

Has NFL "ownership" of gambling sites corrupted the league
Chandler#81 replied to Gisele's topic in The Stadium Wall
Speaking just for myself, I’ve never bought in to conspiracy theories. But Something is definitely amiss here. Officiating has always been arbitrary and suspect. But not like this entire year. I get it that holding happens every play -and it’s a perfect alibi/cover for influencing the outcome. But the level of absolute ridiculousness has reached a new apex! Seriously, in little league, there are occasions where a fan/parent is asked to help officiate and the proud parent does their level best to be fair. That’s actually BETTER than what we’re experiencing in the NFL today. When you combine this with ever improving video review capability, the lunacy ramps up another level! I’m good with stepping down on taunting though. I’m so old -How old Are you Chandler?- I remember no one doing this and not even celebrating scoring. Just drop the ball in the endzone and jog to the bench where you get a couple handshakes or ‘attaboys’ from teammates for doing what’s expected of you. This, I’d welcome the return of. But the clown show we’re witnessing each week and Every game is so atrocious, it screams of another force at play. jmo. -
I’d advocate to bring him up now. What have we got to lose? We know what we have on the active roster and it ain’t good enough. Also Jamil Douglas -a rookie the brass thinks enough of to protect him many times this season. Weave these guys in on early downs to get their feet wet. Give them the opportunity to be better assessed before the Draft & FA. I know McDermott is typically loathe to play rookies, but SB Windows are notoriously small these days and what we’re putting on the field isn’t getting it done. At this rate, I fear we’re gonna lose Josh to injury.
