Sadly -and I’m sure it’s related, Kyle was threatened with death by at least one Bills fan for -of all damn things- not giving Singletary a Sceptor a few weeks ago. He’s mentioned it a couple times on GMFB and on his weekly spot on WGR with Tasker & Chris. They all referred to it today. Kyle makes light of it ‘I guess there really is a Bills mafia’ but it’s disgusting that it’s likely true. 😡

He started with the Giants late 50’s -mostly kick returns. Hooked up with the Titans (of NNY) when the AFL began play and was instrumental in getting Namath in the HOF. iirc, he only had 1 catch in their miracle SB win over Baltimore. He injured his hamstring against the Raiders in the title game, then re-injured it very early in the SB on a long incompletion, but the damage was done as the Colts double teamed him the rest of the way, opening the running of Snell & Boozer. No AFL segment is complete without a Maynard catch on a bomb from Joe Willie RIP Don. Thanks for the wonderful memories.

Going for us -or against us per your POV, Daboll has enjoyed an impactful and successful career to date. Now finally back in his hometown where he just lost a loved one, I don’t think he’s interested in re-locating yet again. He may be forced to a make a decision at some time, but all things being equal ($$) I thinks he’s happy where he’s at. When he talks about WNY, you can hear the love he has for it, it’s history and neighborhoods and his family. jmo

Haven’t seen this addressed yet, but my favorite and most telling play of this game was Allen on a late 3rd Down scramble around the right side, when he drew the outside contain into him to stop him from reaching the sticks, only to lateral the ball to Knox on the sideline who got us the 1st down that led to an important FG. This is the Allen I was mentioning in the Pregame thread. It’s never over with Josh and his teammates are slowly coming around to realize this and anticipate Allen-antics that will help lead to wins. We’ll never read @ScottLaw & his NegativeNancy cohorts praise this, but it’s another aspect of the Josh Experience. Quick; who was the player Allen tried the desperation lateral to in the Texans playoff game? You know, where “Sugarhigh Josh” was born. Answer; Dawson Knox.
