    I like Gabe but he’s still not a polished route runner and I doubt he’ll become one. Like Knox, the dropsies are slowly fading from his game. He has deceptive speed as he appears to lumber while running, but his uncanny knack for keeping his toes inbounds makes him a good addition to the team as long as he’s not the featured guy, imo.

    Knowing a thing or two about the teams’ history, your take amuses me. Warlick, Metzalaars, Reimersma & McKeller are arguably the best of a mediocre lot spanning 60+ years. While Knox definitely got off to a weak start, he’s now moving into rarified air as our best ever TE. Couple this with the confidence our superstar QB has in him, and he’s definitely worth a 2nd contract.

    I’m not sure the contractual agreement with SJF ever satisfactorily completed. One year remained prior to the pandemic a couple years back. Additionally, as an old school guy, I’m good with teams going away for training camp as a way to truly bond the team for the journey ahead. But one big drawback now is how evidenced our great training and health facilities are in OP.

    All the prime time games you mention, plus Titans, Browns, the other Pats* game, Lions on Turkey Day, an overseas game and a late season flex. 12 games. For as much as we loved ‘Ja-Shallin’, we have a lot of company across the globe.

    Agreed. Dismayed just before the 17 play drive, I told the wife ‘this game is over, but I owe it to Allen to watch this next drive before turning it off.     Gal was a jag off. Skipped class routinely, always goofin off, got whipped by the head master all the time. voted least likely to succeed.

    Diggs they have ‘in their pocket’ - could be reading/extending his comtract this offseason if a FA player we really covet comes avaiand we need extra cash. No on Knox but FO may consider extension later this offseason.

    In total, they’re cutting Star, Klein, Haak & Ford and letting a few players (McKettrick) test FA, giving us around $9M after rookie contracts. Definitely on the conservative side as the FO can do other things if they want to.
