  1. Ditto. Out 1st Throwback uni was a MNF game vs. Denver in the 90’s. Because we weren’t allowed to wear white helmets, the red one with a white, grazing buffalo looked hideous. It looked like a flock of geese let loose together overhead.. 🤦‍♂️
  2. We have so many former players from the 60’s through modern day who’ve chosen to live in WNY following their career. Buffalo has nothing to compare to LA, Dallas, Vegas, Miami, NYC, etc. What is does have is a lot of hard working, fun loving, hearty and caring people, who tolerate the often horrible weather while supporting their neighbors. Only locals and pro athletes who’ve played here are aware of the fabulous food offerings, historic culture and manageable mortgages. In the swank cities mentioned above, seeing stars of every venue is rather commonplace. In B’lo, they’re worshipped -as long as they return the love. If Booker Edgerson walks into your favorite corner bar, you’re paying his tab. It’s how we treat those who’ve given us thrills and great entertainment. It’s a wives tale that we don’t pay what big markets pay their players. It’s the cost of doing bidniz. So that has very little bearing in this day and time. Those athletes who prefer bright lights and glitz will always sign elsewhere -if the money is equal. But it’s really not a deterrent. Good topic for discussion, @eball. Thank you.
  3. Well, yeah.. if you count Girls Gone Wild as ‘movies’.. btw, I do!
  4. Please feel free to exit anytime at your leisure.
  5. It’s a noobs offering..
  6. Completely agree. @BillsfaninSB is clueless on this topic. Tennessee was good, but we were better and St. Louis was lucky. That was Our Year..😡
  7. I’ve always preferred The Music City Debacle. 16 seconds. 13 seconds. Wide Right. Suspect face mask on Bruce, sustaining Cinci’s GW drive. Suspect Hold on Dawkins at Houston. The Drop. We’ve definitely had more than our fair share of misery.
  8. I loved Baltimore’s War Memorial Stadium. Like our own WMS, the late season shadows, the infield and old structure brought such character to the games.
  9. My guess is he won’t be happy with the Bills final, ‘take it or leave it’ offer. No offense, Jordan, but we’re simply not financially positioned to pay you top $$. You may well get it from another team, but Knox and very likely Tremaine will eat up what FA dollar$ we’ll have..
  10. I wonder.. being the final game may mean it will have nothing to do with playoff seedings. That would suck cuz neither team wants to get anyone injured, so scrubs will play. It’s risky having marquee games at the bd -ESPECIALLY if the 2 teams are likely to meet in the postseason
  11. Yep! Butch Byrd drilling that dude into the endzone. Awesome! If yer gonna lose, leave ‘em something to remember you by!
  12. Yep, affectionately dubbed the Blunder Bowl. Even Baltimore’s lone TD was a fortunate blunder.
  13. Obviously not the Bills, though Dennis Shaw won ROY. Just 2 years removed from their shocking Super Bowl upset loss to Joe Willie & the Jets, the Colts with the newly formed, merger-induced realignment brought Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Baltimore into the new AFC along with the AFL teams. Since it’s a boring, football-less Saturday in Hell Month, here is perhaps NFL Films best ever production. Vivid, brilliant filmography, exquisite orchestration and armed with a fantastic script, John Facenda never sounding better. For those of you around during this era, here’s a Saturday stroll waxing through nostalgia. Enjoy!
  14. It’s no secret Offense is secondary to Defense with McBeane draft strategy. Our only other star player on O we traded for. We take D players #1 in the Draft -Hell, we took a LB #1 the same season we drafted Josh. I agree with Simms that Davis hasn’t proven enough to be considered very good. He couldn’t even break the starting lineup last year. Crowder? Howard?? Gimme a break. A hodgepodge of afterthoughts on the OLine hasn’t changed since McDermott arrived. Faces have, quality hasn’t.
  15. Kumerow’s departure increases his already strong chance to make the 53. You just keep being you.
  16. I think Shady’s bar escapade. “Who bought the drinks?” ‘ I dunno, but that dude took ‘em’
  17. Forgive him, Lord, for he knows not what he speaks of..🙏
  18. Free Agency, the Draft, Rookie Minicamp, OTA’s and mandatory Minicamp are now behind us. Ahead, the 5 week break before Training Camp begins is the unsupervised phase where ‘boys will be boys’. Accounts of DUI’s, Drunk & Disorderly’s, bar fights, high speed races and crashes, illegal firearm registrations, carrying firearms onto planes, unlawful discharge of firearms, Domestic Abuse, Battery and illegal drug possession will color the news. Thefts, shootings and murder have also occurred. The Bills certainly aren’t immune to these episodes either, over the years. But it’s worth noting the McBeane era has been steadfast in acquiring mostly high character, mature and responsible players -if not choirboys. Heres to hoping everyone arrives at St. John Fisher campus alive, in great shape and without charges pending.. 🍻
  19. Cleveland will sign him for $1Billion, fully guaranteed. It’s how they roll.
  20. He’s not only Von-bad, he’s Von Rotten!
  21. She’s a rare Nice Girl from Joisey!
  22. WTH’s the matter with you?🤨
  23. I think its Hapless. Looks like HIM anyway..
