  1. 1 key player out from what was already the worst run defense in football. It will make their run defense, and their passing defense, significantly worse. On defense, we are healthy aside from Dareus. Have been all year. Seems to me like they've overcome that.
  2. I'd say all signs point to him being rested on sunday. Sucks, since I agree this game is incredibly important.
  3. If only Miami could suffer a similar sort of injury...say, losing one of their best defensive players for the season right before they play us?
  4. Personally, I blame the Buffalo media for talking so much about Shady finally being healthy this year.
  5. Perhaps not, but I'd say it's pretty close to a must-win for the Bills, since it's an AFC opponent. We already have two AFC losses. We can't have a third going into the Pats**** game and expect that we'd still be okay with a loss that day.
  6. I think Goodwin knew that his job was to draw the coverage on that side down toward him, and that if it worked, that corner would be open. As soon as the ball was in the air, he knew it had worked and it was a TD. Clay knew it too.
  7. Would looking at points-per-game be more appropriate?
  8. Pretty icy after that game earlier this year. I don't think there is a lot of love there.
  9. I'm not talking about playoffs. NFL players play for many reasons, I'm just saying I don't think the Jets will just give up all hope and tank because they're 1-5 and don't see much of a chance at the playoffs. They'll still play it out and win a bunch of games, they have a lot of talent on that team.
  10. I really do like where the Bills are at right now, I like what they're doing on both sides of the ball, but I'm not totally sold on them just yet. I'm sure it's just the BBFS in me, but I don't see this defense doing much to slow down Brady and the Pats**** offense. And I don't think we have the firepower on offense to stay with them. It will be nice to win in Miami and have a juiced up home crowd for the huge showdown, but Brady has too much to prove to the world this year, and he and Belichick have so much hatred for Rex, that this could end up being a colossal, ugly disappointment. But yeah, that's totally the BBFS in me. It's hard to shake.
  11. It's a nice narrative to say they are in freefall, but I don't see it happening over the entire season. They have too much talent to suck the rest of the way, especially with the schedule easing up a bit. The NFL season is too long, and things can turn around very quickly. Heck, people were saying the Bills were in a freefall a few weeks ago, and now we're part of playoff talk. Who knows, 4 weeks from now, we may be talking about next year's draft already.
  12. I feel like the Bills are the last thing standing between now and the apocalypse.
  13. I'm sure a lot of those from McCray and Humber were later in the game when the backups were out on the field...
  14. Personally, I think they should include as reviewable any penalty that is 15 yards or longer.
  15. There's a video? Good Lord.
  16. Agreed. This is a bit like last week, a game we most definitely should win, but it's even more crucial because it's an AFC opponent, and a division opponent. I'm a little more worried after seeing what they did to Pittsburgh. The last thing I wanted was to see Miami get some confidence. I don't have concern over the team being focused, but I do worry a bit about the injuries. Clay needs to get back, and I'd love to see Dareus get a few snaps. No mercy...
  17. I'm with you.
  18. Well done, thanks FR. My favorite moment from the game was on the TD pass to Hunter. As soon as the ball left TT's hand, at least three Bills players raised their hands knowing it was a TD -- the two shallow WRs and Clay (I think) on that side of the field, who knew that they had drawn the defense away from Hunter, leaving him open. Me too. And Shaq as well.
  19. He wasn't out there for every big play, and he did drop that easy pass in garbage time, but Felton is just a beast.
  20. Looks like Miami won't be such a pushover, I guess...
  21. People are worried about Chip Kelly's offense because he showed he knows how to attack and defeat a Rex Ryan defense. People are worried about Kaep because he has great talent, and when he sucked the last year or two, it wasn't in Kelly's offensive system. So the combination of Kelly and Kaep is concerning because we haven't seen the two of them work together in this particular system, which apparently is perfect for Kaep's skills. And yes, Kaep hasn't played to this point because they were waiting for him to get back from his injuries and surgeries. So yeah, I'm pretty worried. !@#$!
