  1. Well done, thanks FR. My favorite moment from the game was on the TD pass to Hunter. As soon as the ball left TT's hand, at least three Bills players raised their hands knowing it was a TD -- the two shallow WRs and Clay (I think) on that side of the field, who knew that they had drawn the defense away from Hunter, leaving him open. Me too. And Shaq as well.
  2. He wasn't out there for every big play, and he did drop that easy pass in garbage time, but Felton is just a beast.
  3. Looks like Miami won't be such a pushover, I guess...
  4. People are worried about Chip Kelly's offense because he showed he knows how to attack and defeat a Rex Ryan defense. People are worried about Kaep because he has great talent, and when he sucked the last year or two, it wasn't in Kelly's offensive system. So the combination of Kelly and Kaep is concerning because we haven't seen the two of them work together in this particular system, which apparently is perfect for Kaep's skills. And yes, Kaep hasn't played to this point because they were waiting for him to get back from his injuries and surgeries. So yeah, I'm pretty worried. !@#$!
  5. Saints paid the going rate for a proven franchise QB, and then ended up in cap jail. They've been pretty awful for the last few years because of it.
  6. Not to get too far off topic, but man, I am really nervous about this game. I know it's just the BBFS in me, but still, Kaep is such an unknown. We really need a lot of points.
  7. Man, someone really has a lot of time on their hands to calculate that ****.
  8. ROBEY!!!! Love that guy. A little surprised it wasn't Lorax, but whatev.
  9. ...currently stands at high of 67, 70% chance of rain.
  10. Wow, that was pretty harsh. Let's hope that guy shows up on Sunday.
  11. That screen to Clay was incredibly well executed...except for the !@#$ing drop. The Rams had 8 in the box on that play, with all of them except one sold on the fake handoff. If Clay catches that, he has three blockers in front of him. One is blocking the one guy who didn't go for the fake. The other two had nobody in sight...and only three other players left on the defense not in the picture. Most likely one was a DB on the opposite side of the field covering the WR there, leaving only two left to make the play. That play could have gone the distance depending on where those other two guys were.
  12. I'd really like to see the statistics on this one: What is the FG percentage for Buffalo Bills opponents when attempting FGs of >50 yards over the past, say, 5 years? Sure as hell seems like it's damn near 100%.
  13. 1. Blitz pickup - This has been a bit of a problem for our backs this season, notably Shady. But several times in the game yesterday the Rams sent someone after TT, and the backs picked it up just enough to give TT time to make the throw. Hard to understate how important that is. 2. Miller and Mills - I mentioned Miller in another thread, but the combo of these two has been pretty darn impressive so far, and the game yesterday was a fine example. Not hearing their names and getting 190+ rushing yards is just fine with me. 3. Jerome Felton - I am so glad we picked this guy back up. He had an outstanding game yesterday. Even though he didn't knock the guy down, he made the key "interference" on Gillislee's TD run to give him the space. 4. Adolphus - 3 tackles and 1 sack barely describe the game he had. Hopefully he's getting the hang of this. 5. 3rd and 19 - Robey's pick-6 and the stuff on the fake punt get all the headlines, but I thought the 3rd and 19 scramble by TT was right up there as the play of the game. It turned a quick 3-and-out to start the game into a TD drive. That could have been a pretty demoralizing way to start the game on the road.
  14. Totally agree with this. I thought the clock management at the end of the first half was pretty good. What you describe above had me shaking my head. Of all the times the Bills do a great job getting the play in and getting to the line of scrimmage quickly, they had to do it there.
  15. Not only that, but Gabbert actually has more rushing yards this year than TT. With him or Kaep in the lineup, that's another big concern.
  16. San Fran is at #31, giving up an average of 146.8 yards per game on the ground. Miami is at #32, giving up an average of 150.8 yards per game on the ground. Those are yuuuuuge numbers, and it plays right into the Bills' strength. Will they be able to take advantage?
