  1. Well, I did hedge by saying "doesn't put a lot of trust" rather than "no trust". He does to some extent, though in some cases (Williams) due to necessity. I don't think it's a stretch to say he despises mental errors, which rookies are more likely to make, and they have to prove their discipline and mental toughness before they get a big role. Andreessen looked good for one game. He's going to have to show a lot more for him to overtake Williams and, likely, others. He might do it eventually, sure, but he's got a decent road ahead before that happens.
  2. Excellent point!
  3. I was thinking maybe the next John Holocek. But seriously, he had one (admittedly) solid game. From the sound of it here you'd think the guy is ready to make the Pro Bowl. McDermott famously doesn't put a lot of trust in rookies, so this guy really making the 53 and contributing is still a long shot. He would be a great candidate for the PS, with the expectation that he push for a spot next year. We'll see what happens in the Carolina game.
  4. So the "This Andrewwson kid is good" thread wasn't good enough? Or are you just objecting to the way he spelled his name?
  5. FWIW...Haven't searched this thread, but also need to bear in mind that a player is no longer eligible for the practice squad if he is on the 53-man roster for more than 6 games in a season. So if the Bills keep him as a backup and make him active for game days, by the time Milano comes back he may no longer be able to be stashed on the PS. At least I think that's the case...
  6. Same here. I’ll be 60 when the new stadium opens. Sitting during a game for 3+ hours becomes more important!
  7. I agree. I’m worried about how this will affect game days. Too many people in Buffalo that go to games now just can’t afford those prices. That to me is much more concerning than the PSLs.
  8. Outstanding, dude. Bravo.
  9. The Bills ran a play against the Pats**** a couple years ago down at the goal line that was brilliant, and almost undefendable. IIRC, there were two receivers to the left, one was Dawson Knox. Each was man covered. Josh rolled to the left, and the defenders had to choose between stopping a Josh run or staying on their man. It was a losing proposition. Stay on your man, Josh runs it in. Leave your man, Josh hits the guy you left. One left Knox, and Josh sidearmed it to him. Easy peasy. Never saw that play again.
  10. Yeah, they were offering me Field Club seats around the 40 and maybe 30 rows up, which were really good seats. But without cover or heat, I just couldn't see spending the big-time PSL and ticket prices. But they come with other good perks that you can't get elsewhere, so that should be cool for you. I was kind of dreading having to make the decision, but I actually feel pretty good about the final outcome.
  11. Bills are traveling to Pitt today for joint practice tomorrow.
  12. One of my proudest moments on this board.
  13. There are so many. Seriously, I could watch Josh Allen highlights all freaking day.
  14. Yeah, I think you're right about that. He was definitely pushing the first option, which was seats roughly equivalent to what I have now. Those would be in the Field Club section, Bills side, about the 40 yard line. Great seats, come with lots of amenities, but the price tag is crazy, and no cover or heat. I'm sure he got the message that I value cover/heat more than complimentary food, so the focus switched to the East Club. Once I asked about the front row, I think he understood I was serious and took the necessary steps. Couldn't get him to budge on parking, though.
  15. I wasn't either. I went to the game on Saturday, and the season ticket holder next to me told me he went a couple weeks ago and was offered front row tickets in that section. But my rep at the Experience didn't mention anything, so I asked him if any of those sections had front row seats available. He said he thought they were all accounted for, but he would go ask the manager, and when he came back, two spots on the aisle in the front were, apparently, available. So I snagged them. I'm not sure if it's all part of a thing where they're maybe saving those tickets for certain people, but it didn't hurt to ask, and I ended up getting what I hoped for.
  16. $8K per seat. That's a lot of money, but it's a bargain compared with the other offerings, unfortunately. Ticket prices are going through the roof, too. If I remember correctly, it's about $3700 per ticket for the season. That's about double what I pay now for lower bowl seats on the 45-yard line. That said, I'm pretty satisfied with getting the front row of the second club level. Correct, corner of the end zone on the visiting team side. It will be directly above where the visitor tunnel is.
  17. So I finally had my Bills Experience visit today. They had some memorabilia and videos to get you in the mood, then several stations to review the look, feel, and details of the new stadium. Pretty well done overall. That said, I was mostly leaning towards not purchasing. As expected, I was only being offered club seats, and the PSLs and ticket prices were super high, too high for what I thought would be worthwhile. What changed my mind was I was able to find two seats in the East Club (visitors side) on the second club level, in the front row of the section. So, covered and heated, and also nobody in front of me, like the front row of a theater balcony. No standing needed! In a corner section (currently my seats are at the 45 yard line), so that’s a change for me. Still expensive, but a definite step down from the other offerings. Probably wouldn’t have done it if the first row seats weren’t available. Will be interesting to see what it will be like.
  18. In case you were wondering, Oliver is back out on the sidelines for the second half in full uniform. Won’t be playing, but he looks fine and wasn’t hurt enough to change to street clothes.
  19. FYI, Oliver is on the sidelines looking fine. Pointed to his right knee.
  20. Beautiful day here in the stadium, but very windy. Going to be a challenging game for the kicking and return teams. GO BILLS
  21. $40 and $50 is what I’m seeing.
  22. Thanks, I probably would have done that anyway, but good to know.
  23. Yeah, sounds like that was a problem, so just wondering how bad.
  24. Been years since I went to a preseason game, and obviously all of the construction for the new stadium will impact things. Wondering what people think about drive times, parking, and such. How early to head out, which areas/roads to stay away from, and so forth. Thanks…
  25. I mean, if he really wants a lot of children, sure why not.
