Rewatching the ravens game tonight
Rubes replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The second half of the Texans playoff game comes to mind as well... -
The question comes down to this: is the goal to increase the chances of the losing team getting another chance? Or is it to reduce concussions and other injuries? If it's the latter, I guess I understand. But I don't know that I've seen that many injuries on these plays. Still, I wouldn't like it. If it's the former, WTF? I think most of us agree that it should be an incredible long shot to get the ball back. Nobody wants to see the scales tipped too far in one direction.

I'd be interested to see what the average conversion rate overall has been for 4th and 15's in the final 2:00.

Murphy Out at One Bills Live - Brown and Glab to Replace
Rubes replied to Arkady Renko's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I respect Murph because of his passion for the Bills, but his play-by-play leaves a lot to be desired. As I've said before, we used to turn the TV down and listen to Van Miller call the game (even listen to him at the stadium while watching), but I would never do that with Murph. He lacks any real talent for calling the big plays. -
What I want to know is, when did "roster" become a verb?

Any discussion of best juke move begins and ends with Barry. Though I will say, the move in the OP is pretty impressive.

Beane and McDermott still meet with Bills legends
Rubes replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ah never mind, looks like it's a merging of two different images. -

Is McDermott on the screen in two different places? -
Gronk interested in coming back..to Tampa Update: Traded!
Rubes replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know who this guy is, but... Then there's this... -
Good stuff. I like the yellow pants. Don't like the two on the right, though.

I clearly hate the Pats**** with a passion, but I am probably one of only a few that thought their uniform was pretty well-designed. This new one is just ***** hideous. I agree with Yolo, it gives off a real University of Illinois vibe. I'm betting the "fans" hate it. All of which means it's perfect.

Man, such great memories in this thread. ?

Allegiant Stadium might not be ready for Raiders 2020 season
Rubes replied to Mark Vader's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Back to the issue at hand... It's totally unlikely, but I can't tell you how awesome it would be if this would happen, especially if it involved the Bills game... The Salt Lake Raiders? It’s not likely, but relocating Las Vegas team could spend time in Utah -
Cut him some slack, man. He’s gettin up there in age.

My main takeaway from this thread is that there are a lot of old ***** on this board.

Miami and New England Team Building Strategies...
Rubes replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great insight there. Meanwhile, they played hard last year for a good young coach, had a pretty decent defense by the end of the year, managed to do the one thing McBeane haven't yet been able to do (beat New England in a game that meant a lot to the Pats****), have three first-round picks coming up, and a last-place schedule. Like I said, this could be a team set up for success for several years if they draft well. -
Miami and New England Team Building Strategies...
Rubes replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If (when) Miami picks up a good QB in the draft this year, watch out. Of the other three teams in the AFC East, I think they are most primed for a run in the next few years. -
With actual blocking, the worst that happens on this play is that we get into FG range.

Interesting. Wonder where they will pencil him in first.
