  1. One thing I can't stand anymore: whenever there is a turnover, and the other team responds by scoring on the ensuing drive, they ALWAYS switch the camera to the guy who made the turnover. Just lazy as ****. So !@#$ing predictable.
  2. I think that's a reasonable argument, to be honest. But here's the thing: I've always felt that your quarterback should have the kind of talent to make the players around him better, not that your quarterback needs talented players around him to make him better. (That's an exaggeration, of course: all players are made better by having talented players around them, but you want the balance for your QB to be the former, not the latter.) TT has outstanding talent as an athlete, and brings a lot to the table -- the problem is that most of what he brings to the table is not as a QB. His QB talents are mostly average. If he was just a bit better at being a QB, he'd be a heck of a player.
  3. I wish Tyrod the best, I really do. If he somehow lights it up and leads them deep into the playoffs, that's awesome for him. And I wouldn't hold it against the Bills brass for dealing him away, as most of us here wouldn't. I just think TT reached his ceiling here in Buffalo. Could his ceiling be higher elsewhere? Sure, it's possible. Just not likely.
  4. Damn, good point. Why hasn't anyone talked about that play?
  5. Can anyone remember why we got rid of him? I just recall that he was very good, very reliable, and a cool story. Can't believe it was that long ago...
  6. To each his own. From a football standpoint, it was an amazing game from start to finish. So many exciting, spectacular plays. I was completely, agonizingly drained at the end. It was pure torture that we lost, sure, but it was the best pure game given all that happened.
  7. Hard to argue this one, even though they lost. It was a heartbreaker, but what an amazing game.
  8. Very cool. I met him once in San Diego, I believe. Hope we can help him through this.
  9. Watch "The Replacements" on continuous loop for 6 weeks...
  10. Nice try. Gotta do better than that, John.
  11. Not trying to be a troll, but honest question: what if the stadium/place of employment belongs to the city/county, and not the owner?
  12. I love the Bills logo (of course), but I've always thought the red stripe should be slightly curved (eg, arced) instead of straight.
  13. "Ugh ... the dog days of February." All I could think was, "Ugh...Bill Simmons."
  14. Yeah, but they were kind of quaint and harmless. Never really needed to pay much attention to them.
  15. Hate 'em. Hate 'em all. I'll admit, like some I didn't really hate the Pats**** with a fury until Brady arrived, mostly because they were never really relevant until then. I also never truly hated the Celtics, but that was because I never paid any attention to basketball until I lived in Chicago during the Jordan era, and by then they were pretty irrelevant too. Now I just hate all of them. I never want any Boston fan to be happy about anything. When did this happen to me?
  16. For the life of me, I can't understand why people are misunderstanding the OP so much. It's not like the OP was saying "the book is closed" as in "we now know everything we need to know to pass judgment on it". The OP was just saying that all of the moves that were made as a result of the trade that sent Mahomes to KC are now completed, so we will know the parameters of the trade in order to pass judgment on whether or not it was a good trade for either team once we know how those players pan out. This is not rocket surgery, folks.
