  1. Thanks...so it’s just a single numerical measure of how good a team is?
  2. For the uninitiated, what is an Elo rating and what the heck does it mean?
  3. The other benefit is, if someone happens to knock off the Chiefs, we would have home field throughout.
  4. I seem to recall the last time the Pats**** were without Brady, they went 11-5 and missed the playoffs.
  5. That's so cool! You can't help but love this team. Then there's this follow-up... Is that true? Or is it just a troll?
  6. I guess, but is it really intriguing? Lamar won the MVP award and always makes the Ravens dangerous, and Baker has the Browns with a winning record for the first time in forever and on the verge of a playoff appearance. I mean, sure, things get complicated when their contracts are up, but does anyone really think those teams aren't set at QB for some time?
  7. Every NFL team's 2021 QB situation: Nine are in good shape, two could get ugly and everyone in between LaCanfora: Nine teams are in good QB shape...and the Bills aren't one of them? He lists the Bills in the category of "Mild Intrigue", along with the Bengals, Ravens, Browns, Cowboys, Jets, Raiders, Rams, Panthers, Bucs, Vikings, and Broncos. Wow. I mean, I'm not one to cry "OUTRAGE" every time a sports writer says something questionable, but seriously: Allen is legitimately in the running for MVP this season and has made incredible strides, and with all that he's done, he still really thinks Allen and the Bills belong in the category he describes as: ?
  8. One thing is for sure, the AFC playoffs are going to have a lot of really good teams and a lot of really good games.
  9. Definitely owe them for the past few years, but some of us still hold a grudge from 1988...
  10. The thing that I really like about Allen's game now is that we're not seeing the same crazy Josh we would see when teams could rattle him with blitzes and pressure, like the Texans game from last year. We saw a little bit of it early this year as well, but not much, and over the last 8-9 games, basically none of it. Most QBs fold under heavy pressure, but with Josh it would bring out the wild and crazy disaster plays. Teams knew if they could blitz him and get pressure on him, he'd start freaking out and all sorts of wild ***** would happen. But what we're seeing now is a couple of things: a more calm, composed Josh, one who doesn't spaz out when the heat comes, and a Josh who can recognize blitzes and coverages and calmly make teams pay, either with his arm or his feet. His improvement in accuracy is phenomenal, but IMO this is the improvement we really needed to see if he was going to make that huge leap to elite status.
  11. Nothing to do with anything, but I just wanted to say how much I enjoy that whenever I see "WFT" I can't help but read "What The *****" in my head.
  12. It's a nice thought, but if they're going to play backups the next two games, they should be playing the guys who will be called on if the starter goes down to get the experience they need to step right in. In this case, it should be TJ Yeldon.
  13. 9 days to the next game, so a little extra time to rest. Probably will rest Williams and play Nsekhe next week either way. It would be good for him to get some more snaps in, though I think he looked pretty good in this one.
  14. I’m pretty sure I remember watching every second tick off of the clock, too.
  15. I think they've both been good, and I've noticed both. Probably helps that there isn't a clear #1 RB between the two. If I had to guess, I'd say the coaches are emphasizing that pass blocking is one of the main things that will determine who gets more snaps. Looks like both have been stepping up.
  16. Love me the white-on-blues. I may be in the minority, I guess.
  17. Ah, good times, man.
  18. Damn. All I can think about is how absolutely insane the stadium would be Sunday night with a full house.
  19. They are going to go after Wallace all night long. It’s going to be hard to watch. He really needs to step up his game, SF was going at him tonight and I had to hold my breath each time.
  20. Earlier in the season teams were killing us through the air over the middle. It seemed like there was nothing we could do to stop it. We haven't seen nearly as much of it the past few games. My sense is that Edmunds getting healthy again is a big reason for that, but what do I know.
  21. Well, to be fair, in this case it's the women but in general it's pretty much anyone but the rich white dudes.
